I had a horrendous experience with Sunday nights bartender & manager but the owner Joe the owner apologized. The food is amazing. The owner is a very nice guy. But all he offered was an apology and I hope that I would return back. I wonāt be returning the place is very cliquey and a usual customer started recording the bad experience I had. She was elderly too. Very humiliating. It was the manager and bartenders wrong doing which the owner and manager owned up to. The manager however never called to apologize to me directly. The owner did feel very bad but nothing was done because itās a family and friend oriented business. Iām still bothered by this to this day. Outsiders should tread lightly this place is very much a ā home town we donāt like outsiders ā kind of place and I would avoid going on Sundays. I came here every week thinking I could be a usual customer and they completely violated me. I changed my review a few times and this will be the last time because this is how I genuinely feel. The owner was so nice that I changed it to a five star review, but after nothing being done about the situation, it felt like the owner really only cared about a bad review. Very disappointed no action was taken. Thereās no way I could ever even try to come back for the owner, because his staff is very cliquey and they always have been since the first day I started coming here itās a very present and strong feeling and vibe. It is very apparent. I really hope the owner opens his eyes to the people he has running his business. Itās definitely not good for revenue. You called me and I told you on the phone Iād really appreciate if the manager himself could apologize to me. All you did was profusely apologize, which I appreciate, but youāre not the one that did the injustice. You offered when we were ready to come back and you would buy us a drink however, your establishment is very clicky. The waiter is paranoid and super two-faced. Why would I go back to a place where the bartender was absolutely was rude and started this entire thing to begin with, and I never received a call from your manager. Even on the phone It seemed like that was not something that could be done. My review was edited to exactly how I feel and I have every right to feel the way that I do. It was a very big very disheartening restaurant dine in experience I have ever had in my life and I reciprocated that to you so offering me a drink and a welcome back when your staff would definitely not be as welcoming. What am I supposed to do with that? I am not asking for a freebie. Iām asking for the manager himself to make things right but that never happened and there was no intent on doing so I absolutely told you that is what I wanted and you shrugged it off. And since this is your family oriented business no matter how traumatizing and how messed up this was you did not do anything to him or anyone working there at all because he is family to you as are they. Thatās not OK so the review is as it is and it perfectly states everything that happens/happened and how I genuinely feel I have never been treated like that in 30 years in my life ever! Had the spinich/artichoke dip. The chips were tasty and not salty. As the dip cooled off it tasted better. The guys got boneless wings- they devoured them. Must have been great. The one bad thing I have to say is my drink. I ordered the chunky monkey (alcohol) and it came no where near the top of the glass. The second one was even smaller. Too much ice in the shaker. Had the roast beef sandwich for dinner with sweet potato fries. The fries were amazing. Not salty. Not soggy. The au jus that came with the beef was tasty. Portion size was ok. Bread was soft and fresh. Husband ordered the chicken fetticini with alfredo ( i think) and he loved it. Was a large portion and he said it was delicious. I was disappointed that they did not have the specials listed strawberry rhubarb pie (waitress said they didn't have any this AM- well then, why is it still on your board? Or you didn't say at the beginning of ordering?). Ended up getting Death by chocolate cake. It was more mousse than cake. With alot of whipped cream on the side ( don't like whipped cream takes away flavor of the cake). The hard top part was tasty but I didn't taste too much cake and way too much mousse.
