Assembly Icehouse — Restaurant in Plano

Plano/Allen Friends - Putting you on alert for a new hangout! Assembly Icehouse is new at Spring Creek / Ave K in Plano. The old "Garden Ridge" area, Near Canes, Waffle House, and Sam's.

This is just a short distance from 75, offering easy access after Clark High School, Plano East sports, Oakpoint Rec, or Football (Plano Senior, Plano West, and Visitors) games, and is even conveniently located down the road from Allen.

Beverages galore. I loved my Strawberry drink - it was light and tasty. The queso had great flavor and didn't stand a chance! Tried a mushroom burger (mmm!). The Bread Pudding was so warm and delicious!

I love the patio and the open patio doors!

Lots of TVs and Bands on certain nights!

Nice place with a great indoor/outdoor patio that is fully covered. The service was really good. We only had drinks and appetizers but the food we had was good. Chips and queso was great, as well as the cheese curds. Buffalo wings were just okay, I'd probably skip them next time.

Now for the bad... the beer tap menu is absolutely terrible for a place with "Icehouse" in the name (see picture I added of the draft beer list). Only one Texas craft beer on tap, and they were actually out of it on our visit. We came on a Saturday to watch college football, there are 5 TVs on the patio and only 2 are on/working. They're all quite hard to see unless you are standing right in front of them, so I wouldn't recommend coming here to try and watch any sports...

Assembly Ice House is hands down one of the best spots around! The atmosphere is always great — lively but relaxed — and there are TVs everywhere, perfect for catching any game. The patio is amazing and one of my favorite places to hang out when the weather’s nice.

The food is top-notch! I highly recommend the Brussels sprouts (so good!), chicken and waffles, and the burger — all full of flavor and perfectly cooked. The homemade potato chips are addictive, and you can’t leave without trying the chocolate cake.
