Cliff Coffee — Restaurant in Plano

Great vibes and great coffee. The beans they use are high quality from Lemma, and you can really taste the nuttiness coming out in their iced americano with just a hint of fruit. Trying some of their signature drinks; a little on the sweet side for me personally, however they seem balanced enough; that for the average person it would be just right.

The venue is nice, with plenty of seating, however it is a little on the smaller side, so best fit for small groups or couples. Music choice is great and fits the space well.

As a craft barista of 6+ years I definitly find their espresso leagues better than any fast coffee chains, and honestly on par with big names in local cafes like 1418.

The only criticism I have is more of a suggestion to the owners: I'd LOVE to see a single origin offering on an additional espresso grinder for those who want a dopio, americano, cortado or traditional macchiato. However this isnt a deal breaker, as the blend they offer is definitly high quality enough that I enjoyed their iced americano anyway!

I didn’t know what I was walking into when I decided to try this place out, but when I walked in I was transported to the southwest. The interior designer of Cliff Coffee deserves the highest award the industry has to offer - this place is gorgeous.

Not knowing what to order, I asked for recommendations. They had a few signature drink suggestions, and I asked for the Tumbleweed. It’s advertised as a cold drink, but it was 40° so I ordered it hot instead.

I got my drink to stay and enjoyed the ambiance. My latte was served in a nice porcelain cup with a little latte art on top.

I can see this spot being part of a nice weekend routine. It’s very close to Oak Point Nature Preserve - take your pup for a stroll and then enjoy a nice local...

Ordered the Mexican Standoff (caramel cinnamon vanilla latte with cayenne pepper) and wowza it was amazing! You immediately smell/taste all of the flavors and then it finishes with a cayenne kick. So freaking GOOD!!

Also got their chocolate chip cookies, which are baked by the owner. Holy cow these babies are rich and decadent!! Must have again.

Their cortados are LEGIT. The mini stroopwafel is a nice touch. Haven’t seen any other local coffee shops serve it like this. Just...
