UPDATE Sep 2024: Way overdue for update on this location. My first review was when store was located on west side of Preston Road. Some months maybe a year ago now they moved further west and much bigger parking lot, double lane drive-thru with special lane. Place a Mobile order for Drive-Thru and use our new Mobile Thru lane to pick up a mobile order. This lane is dedicated to Chick-fil-A One® Members who place orders on the app and should help you get through the drive-thru line faster than before. They certainly needed it based on the crowds who came to old location. Good for them. Nothing lost in move and service is still first rate. Probably better since they aren't so crowded in kitchen, dining area and having bigger parking lot and double drive-thru. Prompted to eat here with a birthday dessert choice as loyalty club member. Good timing as they offered a limited special; Honey Pepper Pimento Cheese chicken sandwich. Yummy. Side note: curious so I asked a plaid shirt manager/supervisor to explain the different shirts and as expected solid red, plaid, blue and finally black shirt indicates responsibility and leadership. Also that Chick-fil-A corporation limits franchise owners to three locations after many years of proving they can do it starting with mall location before getting a standalone. I have add a few photos on new location interior. The rush is on Saturday May 2014. Very busy just a few minutes ago. Return visit for me after a long time away. Prompt service even when very busy. courteous and helpful staff. Try the new grilled chicken sandwich. Free WiFi. UPDATE: Aug 2015. Back again; rinse/repeat same comments only they remodeled the store and wear good looking new uniforms. It was another Sat lunch hr visit and the staff was hustling to get the the orders out. Two employees out on the curb to take orders from drive-thru customers. I went inside and got my order faster than the drive-thru customers. I upgraded my rating to five stars. UPDATE: May 2016 Still a 5 star location. I was impressed with the fast courteous service during a very busy...
Read moreAvoid this location for breakfast! I stopped by today and had to wait 10-15 mins after ordering just to get to the window and find out they had a system issue, and had no clue what my order was. I had to leave by this point as I had other commitments to make.
I circled back around later to get my refund. Ultimately, they failed in the communication department. They're very good about having several people stand outside to take orders when things are going good, how about have those same people at least alert customers when something like this is going on that there is a system issue and it's causing delays rather than taking peoples orders not telling them anything and then having To find out when they pull up to the window? I've been to other places with less ratings than chik-fil-a overall, who have done better in these situations. They will at least tell you we're not taking orders right now because our system is down. This allows us as customers to make a decision to leave at that time rather than waste time.
Customer Service isn't highlighted when things are going great, everyone excels there, Customer Service is highlighted when things aren't going good, and today this location of Chik-Fil-A failed, and in their minds they did the best they could according to what they told me. Unfortunately, based on experiences under similar circumstances at other places, they could have done better. They need to do better than thinking that customer service rhetoric of an apology because of a system issue is the best...
Read moreI just want to preface this by saying that I have worked at a chick-fil-a, and I have always loved chick-fil-a as a company. I came in from 3-6 to work on my computer. When I arrived I came in and sat down and did a mobile order. I received my food quickly and it was nice and warm. However, I sat in the dining room for a little over 3 hours and a manager visited my table once to give me a free cookie. I appreciated the gesture, but I feel like when a guest has been sitting in the dining room for that long they should be checked on more than once. Also, I was a bit disturbed and disappointed when I saw a team member change the trash. She pulled out the trash can and pushed down the trash with her bare hands before tying off the bad and pulling it out of the bin and setting it on the ground. It would have been better if she had used gloves to push down the trash and tie it off and take the whole bin to the back and returned with a freshly lined bin. It’s just gross and unsanitary to do it the way she did, and that management allows it, when anyone that has worked at chick-fil-a knows that in the training you’re supposed to take the trash to the back before taking it...
