Since its humble beginnings in 1957, Hideaway Pizza has garnered a stellar reputation in Stillwater, Oklahoma, that continues to flourish across the region. Nestled in this vibrant college town, it has become a beloved staple for both locals and visitors alike, now extending its deliciousness into multiple states including Arkansas and North Texas. Upon entering Hideaway Pizza, one is immediately enveloped in an inviting atmosphere that perfectly balances a laid-back vibe with a touch of excitement—a true nod to its college roots. The decor is eclectic, featuring local artwork and memorabilia that add character to the space, while the friendly staff ensures that every visit feels warm and welcoming. The menu is a treasure trove of options, starting with their renowned starters. The world-famous fried mushrooms are a must-try; golden and crispy on the outside, they burst with flavor and pair surprisingly well with their house-made dipping sauces. The baked cheesy shrooms and fried ravioli are equally enticing and are perfect for sharing—or not! For pasta lovers, Hideaway Pizza offers a delightful selection, including lasagna, creamy chicken pesto Florentine, and the vibrant Pasta Paradise, which promises a burst of flavors in every bite. For those looking to customize their experience, the build-your-own pizza option is fantastic, offering an array of toppings to adorn their amazing thin and regular crusts. Each bite of pizza reveals a satisfying crunch on the outer edges, while the center remains delightfully chewy. For those who prefer to explore, the specialty pizza selection is nothing short of impressive. With over a dozen options featuring unique combinations, you'll find it difficult to pick just one. Their menu also includes a variety of sandwiches, perfect for a quick lunch or a satisfying dinner. Each sandwich is crafted with fresh ingredients, making it another excellent option to consider. The extensive beer menu perfectly complements the food, with a variety of local brews and well-known favorites that cater to every palate. Whether you’re enjoying a casual night out with friends or celebrating a special occasion, Hideaway Pizza's exceptional service ensures a memorable dining experience. In summary, Hideaway Pizza combines quality ingredients, a welcoming atmosphere, and attentive service, making it a must-visit destination in Plano, McKinney and soon other DFW locations. Whether you're a longtime fan or a first-time visitor, this iconic pizzeria is sure to leave you craving more.

August 2, 2024: We came back to give this location another chance. Ironic the day was the same 9 months to the day. We were greeted at the host stand by manager Jordan who was extremely friendly and nice. Somehow we got on the topic of our first experience with Hideaway Pizza 🍕 at the Plano location and how it was a disaster of a visit. From the first moment Jordan worked to make our experience far better than our first and went above and beyond to make our experience a fantastic one. He told us our server was Dillon and he was an awesome waiter. He had a very friendly and upbeat personality. Dillon checked on us frequently to make sure we didn’t need anything else. Jordan likewise continued to check on us during the duration of our meal. To top things off Jordan gave us a complimentary peace of Lemonade Pie which no one in all the years we ate in Oklahoma mentioned y’all even had to offer. It was absolutely amazing and my wife and I throughly enjoyed it and will definitely be back for more. To Jordan and Dillon than y’all for making our experience so awesome this time. We will be back. ————————— November 2, 2023: Horrible Experience!! Not Recommended. From the start the location is set up with the entrance in the rear. The front that’s visible from 121 is the Curbside Only. We arrived at 6:30 and by 7:33 our pizza 🍕 came out. It took 50 minutes from ordering the pizza to get it. We love Hideaway in Oklahoma but this location is not worth a visit. A manager didn’t even bother to come over after we were told 30 minutes prior a manager was on the way. The manager that did come over had no clue about our issue she was just trying to clear a glass off our table. The water for some reason tasted like chapstick as odd as that sounds. Likewise my Dr Pepper tasted the same so I switched to Pepsi which was good. By the time the pizza came we got a box and left. Over an hour for pizza is ridiculous.

Came with my Mom and a friend who is a regular and suggested we meet here for lunch today (5/8/2025). First visit and definitely not our last. Eclectic vibe in a laidback atmosphere. A nice place to unwind with good food and fun times with even better company. Started off with Mango Margaritas on the rocks for Mom and me and a Frozen Mango Margarita for our friend. Pizza was delivered to the table - piping hot and delicious. We had perused the Menu online prior to our visit, so it was already decided what we wanted to order. Our go-to at pizza places is the Margherita. Our server, Anthony - was attentive and kind and made several suggestions; including the possibility of a half and half. Made sure we had everything we needed and checked on us in intervals during our meal. We decided on half Pepperoni and half Margherita. We prefer thin crust and a small size (10”) to share between the two of us. It was perfect. Most noteworthy was the texture and ratio of the dough and crust. The flavors truly shined; in particular the olive oil, garlic, and the red sauce provided the ideal contrast. Tony - one of the Managers on the floor - stopped by our table for feedback about our visit. Honestly, the best pizza I have had at a restaurant in years! It is clear that standards are high and quality ingredients are being utilized. Looking forward to returning here for a future Happy Hour and adding yet another place to our list of Restaurant Rotations in the Plano/Frisco Area.

The wife and I met some friends for lunch at this restaurant. Our first time eating here and the impression was good. It was clean, above average décor, especially for a Pizza Restaurant. This place brings back what Pizza Restaurants have lost. People want to be able to dine in a pleasant atmosphere, with friends / family, over a pie and drinks. That is the winning formula that made Pizza Restaurants popular, back in the 1970’s. Not takeout, and delivery. The Pizza was above average in fresh ingredients and unique blends. My wife and I split a medium (13”) using their half and half option. We ordered half “Pepperonipalooza” and “the Xtreme” off their specialty menu. First, let me say there is such a thing as “too much” Pepperoni. We have learned that but that is not the case here. This pizza has three distinct kinds of Pepperoni (who knew?) that complimented each other perfectly. And “the Xtreme,” was a particularly good rendition of what most places call a “Meat Lovers Supreme.” When we arrived, the Manager met us at the door with a smile and advised us about their specialties. He said thin crust pizza is what they are known for. We do not like thin crust pizza so we ordered the “Hand Tossed” hoping it would be a thicker crust. If the thin crust pizza is thinner than the “Hand Tossed,” it must be nearly see through. Our crust was thinner than a Saltine Cracker. And that is what keeps their pizza from being a five-star pizza. They have a broad selection of draft beers, properly chilled. Their fried Mushrooms were excellent. All of us enjoyed our lunch. The lunch specials still put their offers higher than local competitors for lunch. But not so much so that it is a deal killer. With one medium specialty pizza, one 12 oz. draft beer, and one-half order of fried mushrooms, the bill with tip came to $43.00 for two people. Which is on the high side for lunch and almost out of our budget. The lunch specials would have been more expensive considering the same sides and drink. Table Service was average. We would give this restaurant 4.5 stars if we could, but we round it to a 4 because we are unable too. We will come back. Not the best Pizza locally but is the best Pizza Restaurant...

My wife and I went on her lunch break. We were seated immediately but took them about 10 min before even asking our drink orders. The manager explained that they only had one server so we understood and proceeded to place our orders. We were annoyed with the manager cause he kept trying to change our mind on what to order, to the point my wife was ready to walk out. We finally submit our order, Mount Mushmore and Veggie combo ( I really wanted to order the pizza of the gods with red sauce but the manager and waitress both convinced me it was a poorly designed pizza) they also kept trying to get me to order meat pizza even though we explained we were eating vegetarian… So our pizzas come out and the Mount mushmore was sat down then they sat the veggie combo down but it wasn’t a veggie combo, it was a ATW with pepperoni… we’re not eating meat so I sent it back as it was wrong. The guy tried leaving it on the table and “go check” and we politely asked him to take the incorrect pizza back. Then the manager comes to apologize for inputting the wrong pizza for our order. The waitress then comes by asking how my pizza was (the incorrect order). I explained that it was flavorless and not good. She shrugged her shoulders and walked away. I told myself that I would tip whatever discount they presented on the order as they made my wife late back to work for her lunch break. I also said to myself that if they offer something I will return but the receipt came and no discount was offered. I did leave a zero tip as the waitress didn’t do anything to service us. She made my wife late to work and she put the wrong pizza. I didn’t ask for a discount but it should have been offered. I also didn’t appreciate being told not to order certain menu items that sounded really good to me. We will not return to this establishment as the food was no where close enough in flavor or quality to consider this was just “an off day” and to give...
