Perfection from the moment we arrived to the moment we checked out!
First off, this was a last minute staycation celebration for my wife's birthday. I booked a room for our family and had inquired about what options were available to make the arrival that much more unique. Without going into too many details, Bailey and Zanil are absolutely friggin' amazing! Not only did they upgrade the room to a corner suite, they added a special little touch that super delighted all of us. THAT is why I always try to stay at Hyatts whenever on the road.
Parking is plentiful and free. In times when everyone is slapping on resort fees, parking fees, breathing fees, and whatever other corny fee can be assessed, the HRF does not nickel and dime its guests. Love it!
Rooms are clean, well designed, spacious, and very comfortable. The shower particularly with its rainfall style setup and separate shower wand makes for a relaxing haven.
The lobby to the bar to the dining area are all tastefully designed with sleek, clean lines and a hip cool feel. Kudos to the owners (Sam Moon Group) who have absolutely created a beauty much like the Renaissance Dallas at Plano Legacy West which they also own.
The convenience and ease of access to the mall also makes this hotel a clear winner when it comes to location. Just be sure you catch the doors before 9 pm or you will have to walk around the mall to the front of the hotel.
Breakfast the next morning was complimentary (one of the best perks of being a Globalist!) and consisted of a buffet with eggs, bacon, sausage, lox, toast, oatmeal, and fresh fruit. Delicious!
This could not have gone any better. Special thanks again to Bailey and Zanil who definitely delighted and exceeded all of our expectations with their extra attention to detail and overflowing hospitality. We will be recommending the HRF to all of our family and friends for their next adventure.
We will...
Read moreTo say that I am disappointed with the way my situation was just handled by the personnel at the Hyatt Regency in Frisco is an understatement. My son was traveling to Frisco today for a few days with his girlfriend so I wanted to do something nice for them and booked them a room yesterday afternoon. As luck would have it, my son texted me at 3am this morning telling me that he's been up all night sick as a dog and in no shape to make the 5 hour drive from San Antonio. I promptly called Priceline (with whom I made the reservation) and they in turn contacted the hotel to explain the situation and inquire about issuing a full refund being that I only made the reservation less than 24 hours ago (their policy is to keep one night's stay if cancelled within 2 days of your reservation). I was informed by Priceline that there wasn't even a chance that the person they contacted at the front desk of the hotel was even willing to negotiate- it was a hard no and that was it. I could understand if I had made the reservation weeks in advance but I only made it yesterday so I wasn't even "given" the 2-day cancellation window. Unfortunately, life isn't black and white- sometimes things happen out of our control and a little compassion goes a long way. Not only is my son still planning to travel to Frisco (hopefully tomorrow if they feel better) but I fly to Texas twice a year and will be in Frisco in November for 10 days. I have done a lot of research on this hotel since my last visit to the area and was very impressed and had every intention of staying there during my upcoming visit (also the reason why I wanted my son to stay there). I can assure you, that is no longer the case nor will it ever be after the treatment I just received by Hyatt. My time as well as my money will happily be spent at the Omni Star where they know how to treat their guests. Shame on you Hyatt- I certainly expected...
Read moreThis was my first time ever at a Hyatt location and I’m so glad that this location was my first experience with the family!
Let’s start with the spacious free self parking that you have available! Honestly the reason why I chose this hotel (I usually stay at Hilton properties because of a credit card) was the great reviews about free parking. All of the other properties made you feel like you had to pay for Valet or paid self parking.
Mauricio who takes care of the Valet and bellhop, was so awesome from the start! So professional and friendly that my toddler calls him his friend now, lol.
We checked in and immediately felt so great about my choice! I wish I remember the gentleman who helped us. I want to say it starts with a C (so sorry!!). He moved from Las Vegas and I’m glad he likes it in Texas so far. D’Andre, who was also in front, was great too! You can tell they both value providing great customer care and setting the tone from the get go.
My family enjoyed our room so much and honestly, I’m no hotel connoisseur, but I can say the little details like, automatic night lights on the bottom of the bed/bathroom and shower handle on the opposite end of the shower head, were details I appreciate!
The vibes and energy was good throughout the stay and we were surrounded by many other attractions we didn’t get to do. If I had to pick at one thing, it might be the kids Mac and Cheese we ordered (little spicy and salty for it being kids mac). Still doesn’t take away from everything that we experienced.
I know this isn’t going to be our last time at this hotel and I might just have to become a World of Hyatt member to collect more points!
Thank you to the team and staff at Hyatt Regency Frisco for the...
