Took my son out for ice cream Sunday evening. I ordered a banana split through the drive thru since their dining room is closed. My son ordered a blizzard. My son and I decided to sit out on patio since it was a nice day. As I’m eating my banana split, I notice their aren’t any bananas in my banana split. I walk up to the drive thru window to tell the cashier named Julio (this was name given) who identified himself as one of the supervisors. I tell him about my bananaless split and he says he will take care of it. Me thinking I’m going to get a new banana split, best resolution I thought. A young man comes out with a banana in his hand to give to me. I couldn’t believe I was actually brought a banana. I told the young man I wasn’t upset at him ( he was the messenger) but told him to tell Julio that was poor customer service. After my son finished his blizzard I drove back to speak to Julio to see if he would do the right thing and to return the banana. He proceeded to tell me I ate most of the banana split and he gave me a banana to resolve the issue. If this young man really is a supervisor, he needs some training in customer service. He also needs some training in just being a decent human being. He had a terrible smirky attitude, had an opportunity to make things right and he chose to be rude. I will be contacting the owner to let him know the type of employees are running his/her store. I love Dairy Queen and banana splits. What was supposed to be a nice evening with my son turned out to be a disappointment. What is this world coming to where we can’t respect each other and be decent kind human beings towards each other. Julio if that’s really your name, shame on you young man. You have a lot of growing up to do. If I do get a response from the manager, I want to show you the video of how this was handled so you can see for yourself the poor...

Read moreDon't you just love a restaurant that basically tells you that they do not want your business in indirect terms. Stop in one afternoon and there is one person in line. The young man working the counter is moving about the dining area. He comes back and appears to take an order from the lady in line in front of me. He does some other stuff for about 15 seconds and looks over and says the he will be back. He picks up what appears to be a Blizzard or milk shake and walks into the dining room. He comes back to the counter a minute or so later and does some other activities, looks over and tells me he will be back in a couple minutes, grabs some food from kitchen and counter and returns to the dining room. At this time I look at my watch. After two full minutes and no one else behind me in line, I decide to go to the rest room and wash my hands. I return to the counter and now there are several people in line ahead of me. Just no Dairy Queen food for me today and no Dairy Queen sales to me in the future. Recommendation: Avoid this place if you want anything like...
