In the beginning I was impressed with this donut shop. I was greeted upon walking in, the music was nice and uplifting, the selection of donuts were unique, the lady who assisted me was friendly. But the reason for 2 stars is because when I was making my coffee another woman with blonde hair came from the back and begin to watch me. She even questioned me by asking what I had paid for. I told her I paid for 1 coffee and had 1 coffee. I told her that I over poured and wanted to pour out some coffee to make more room for the creamer but the coffee station is not setup for such incidents. She questioned why I didn’t leave room. I told her because I initially wasn’t going to get creamer but changed my mind. Not that I should have had to explain it to her but I usually drink black coffee because it’s healthier but then I realized I’m having donuts today and decided to enjoy my moment and indulge completely. She eyed me and told me she would throw my coffee away. I told her there was no need for that. I just need to pour a little out and she told me to go outside to do it so I did. I’m a 1st time customer and I spent $9 in their shop today. Enough to buy a bag of cups or a can of coffee. To antagonize a customer over spilled coffee is cheap penny pinching mentality. Ask yourself, how much profit have you just made and if it’s worth risking the possibility of losing a returning customer? It’s sad to see minority business have short sided thinking and acting this way which ultimately affects their bottom line…profits. It’s unfortunate because this donut shop is 3 minutes from my home and was happy to see one so close and everything besides this woman’s behavior was great but there’s a donut shop on every corner where I can go and not be watched or antagonized over something of such small value. This goes to show you how much they value their customers. She made me feel like a thief by asking me...
Read moreThis is the first time I've posted a review, but I needed to because the owner asked me to do it. I go to this place every Sunday to buy Donuts for my three kids. I went to buy donuts as usual and wanted to purchase croissants, too. I asked if the croissants on display were plain, and she said no; then I asked, “What’s inside?” pointing at the croissants, and she rolled her eyes and replied, “Sausage.” Then I said, “Just sausage?” (because it had pieces of jalapeño). She said, “Yes! I just told you, sausage!”. I got upset and said, “Well, you don’t need to answer me like that,” she said, “Well, I just told you three times it is a sausage.” Needless to say, she was rude and probably was having a bad day. I told her I was a customer and her customer service was horrible. Then I told her I would leave a review on Google and Yelp, and she started clapping and said,...
