I went here for Brunch on Mother's Day, 05/12/2024. It was definitely tucked away so from the storefront it was not giving...upscale vibe. Because this was brunch, it appeared to be ample parking. I am not sure what it would be like when all of the other establishments are opened. The décor was really nice and very well put together. Upon entry, we waited to be seated. The young ladies that greeted us as the door were friendly, however, the young lady Taylor that greeted us, asked about our reservation and sat us at our table, was not. She lacked enthusiasm and did not present the brand of this establishment well at all. To me she was more focused on socializing and representing for her co-workers that work there vs the people that are customers. Where we sat, it was cold because it was very close to the door. We asked to be moved and was told no due to reservations but the entire time we were there it would not have been an issue because it was not a full house...not even halfway. I will admit that we were shocked that we had a window of an hour and a half to eat. Overall we understood, especially on a day like Mother's day to keep the move of availability fluid. Any how, we were fortunate to have an amazing waitress, **Tai**. She is a great ambassador of service for this business. She went above and beyond. I received a dirty glass...and she was very apologetic and replaced it. I also advised her about the restrooms not being thoroughly cleaned and it was quickly addressed. Restroom cleanliness alone can make or break a restaurant for sure. Stay on top of that. Now listen here, the food is really good. I had eggs, grits and potatoes, my mom had chicken and waffles, my daughter had the breakfast platter and my son had the steak eggs and potatoes. We all had water and Mimosas for the table. We really enjoyed the music and our time of fellowship. We were greeted by the Chef and the Owner so that was pleasant to have that opportunity. One key factor that has to be explained is that the gratuity is included. The check out is digital and not itemized. So I ended up over tipping but in this case it was well worth it because our waitress was the bomb. Please take a look at their website and menu. It is not cheap to eat here so don't expect to pay on a low scale. Overall, I was impressed. I made this drive from Far South to Plano, including picking up my mom from the HEB area. I want to genuinely see Black Owned businesses thrive but we have to stay on our toes and pay attention to detail. Hopefully they will continue to improve in areas and never get comfortable. It is possible that if in the area...I will visit again.

Over all the vibe is definitely there!! The food still needs work, the grits was really salt heavy. The oxtails should’ve been cooked a little longer they were super tough (maybe cook them overnight or earlier before opening) the flavor was there a little pepper heavy but over all a good flavor.. the deviled eggs were just piped egg yolk and a shrimp, the shrimp was very flavorful but the egg messed up the whole dish. The salmon that topped the salad was way over cooked hard and super salty.. the owner Johnny was super nice and attentive he really could thrive if he had a team behind him that really supported his vision. Over all the food wasn’t nothing to go crazy about I was expecting something much more! Also the servers need to be consistent with the presentation because we ordered a bottle and they just brought ours out with no excitement or anything but as we sat here we saw the bottles presented with sprinklers and cute little glasses.. our server Brianna wasn’t very attentive and I think the 18% service charge is super steep with the service we received..

I really had a great experience visiting Miami Vibes. I made reservations for my birthday and they were very accommodating with some last minute changes. I went on a Friday night & the vibes were most certainly there. It was decorated very cute in there & the wait staff was very friendly! I had the City Girls signature cocktail & it was really good with a nice kick. We ordered the crab cakes for an appetizer which was good & seasoned well. For my dinner I had the Salmon, it was a bit overcooked for my liking and needed a little more seasoning, however the mashed potatoes & brussel sprouts were both tasty and on point. I enoyed the sparklers, good music, & overall atmosphere. The staff made me feel special. The overall esthetic & vibe was there like the name. I would definitely be back again!

One of the bar tenders, Val C. ( per the receipt ) Placed a hold of $100.00 on my debit card, as if I was opening up a tab. I ONLY ordered two watermelon Ciroc shots that costed $32.82 (that was paid in full) However the charge was reversed, a couple of days later……she should have asked if I wanted to start a tab, instead of assuming. ( teaching moment ) Taylor, the Manager did call me to explain the hold and apologized for the inconvenience, after several attempts to get a hold of her. I thanked, Taylor and appreciated her for looking into the issue. With that being said……. I highly recommend to PAY attention to your online banking, when dining at MIAMI VIBES. If you see an additional charge, it’s probably a hold/pending charge that will fall off.
