Visited shop 7/28 @5:11pm. Very disappointing experience.
I billed for onion samosa and the lady in the counter they don’t have it and when I asked why they billed, the lady bounty mentioned I don’t know and go to the billing counter. When the billing person asked if there were no samosa, he got a cold stare. The person in the billing counter had to enquire in kitchen to confirm no samosa. Poor communication between employees. I got money back for sugarcane juice.
The sugarcane juice I ordered was like ginger and water. When complained all I got is “I don’t know the sugarcane we got is not good”. He enquired in kitchen and that’s all. Didn’t get back to me or offer anything else for the money.
Again went to billing counter and I told him was disappointed with the sugarcane juice I received, the person in billing counter acknowledged. I ordered ice cream for my disappointed kid (after the samosa and sugarcane juice experience). After paying, the person in billing counter said “you can go and take it”. I saw no one in the ice cream counter, went and enquired again, “should I take it myself”? Again he said “you can go and take it”. When I went inside the ice cream counter looking puzzled why I had to take it myself, in a moment he came and said”hello, you can’t go inside” in a rude way. I told him that’s why I asked twice but he felt it is still my mistake. Absolutely disappointed with the service and overall experience. Check the camera in front of the ice cream counter.
Poor morale and communication between the employees, worst sugarcane juice and absolutely no ‘thanks’ or ‘sorry’ as can be expected in an Indian cafe.
On a positive note, the irani chai I had was very good though. Would hesitate to visit again. Be very cautious when ordering...
Read moreI wish I could give them zero Stars. The service is extremely terrible. I was at the store at 11:30 AM and they said that tea was going to be ready at 12 o’clock even after letting them know that I drove like 30 minutes to this place just to get the tea. He said he is going to be ready at 12 o’clock I waited and I waited and he gave me tea at 12:30 after waiting for an hour. During my time of waiting I have seen a lot of people getting upset specially Uber eats and doordash they came to pick up the food but every time someone comes in they say wait about 15 to 20 minutes when online it says it’s ready for the pick up. I talk to the lady at the register and also the guy I don’t know if the management does not care about time and money people are investing in them. None of them apologize to any customer or me even after addressing that if they continue to run the business this way they will soon shut down. Management at Irving location is getting bad too because they have too much business now. Please support other businesses who care for you and your time and money than this people who does not care for customer service. I wish someone can complain to the Better Business Bureau because they charge so much and worst place on earth. Hope someone don’t get burned away with a hot tea without a lid because they wanna charge customers for a lid insane. Someone needs to sue them for that. Total terrible and shame on them to say that they are from telanga or andhra. Spoiling...
Read moreVisited Hello India in Plano for their Sunday lunch buffet and I must say—it was one of the best lunch buffets I’ve had in the US recently, especially at such a reasonable price of $18 per person. The buffet starts around 12:00 PM and offers a very satisfying variety of dishes, both veg and non-veg. Every item we tried was flavorful and fresh. The staff kept refilling the trays promptly, ensuring nothing ever ran out. Some of the veg appetizers included veg Manchurian, samosa, gobi 65, and okra fry—all delicious. Among the non-veg items, the crispy chicken and shrimp fry were absolutely amazing! The goat and chicken biryani were flavorful and perfectly cooked, and the goat curry was just fantastic. Chicken tandoori was another highlight.
What really impressed me was the live dosa counter—you could order your favorite dosa on the spot. I tried the ghee karam dosa which was super tasty, and the medu vada was perfectly crisp. The curd rice they served was hands down the best I’ve ever had. We wrapped up the meal with some sweet treats—fruit custard and chikoo shake, both absolutely delicious.
The ambience was wonderful, very clean and well-maintained. And the unique touch? They were playing Baahubali during lunch, giving it a fun theatre-like dining experience!
Kudos to the entire team at Hello India for doing such a fantastic job with food, service, and atmosphere. This place is a must-visit if you’re craving a fulfilling, delicious Indian...
