Le Peep Grill of Plano — Restaurant in Plano

I have to say my faith in La Peeps Plano has been restored. I totally appreciate management reaching out to me regarding my experience and asking for a chance to make it right. I returned to restaurant and Katy the manager assured me they would take care of me. The food was it’s usually great, service was great and my meal was on the house. Thank You Katy and La Peeps for even caring about me one individual and the desire to restore the relationship. Thank You Thank You. La Peeps is back at the top my list as the best breakfast restaurant.

I have been a customer of LePeeps Las colinas for years and they are the best. I tried the Plano location and it was horrible meaning the food was awful. I had Eggs Benedict it was covered in a canned cheese sauce instead an hollandaise sauce, I could not ding the egg I had to scrap the thick cheese sauce off to find a small overcooked egg. The Pecan Pancake was was no fluff very thin nothing like the big fluffy pancakes at Las Colinas location. Only my second visit to a Le Peep ever. Previous visit was to one in Irving. This one is in Plano. Got the Hen Pen. Scrambled eggs taste like they're from a carton & fairly tasteless even with salt & pepper. Bacon wasn't crispy (but I forgot to order it that way so that's my fault), but it was pretty flavorless too (which wasn't my fault). Hash Browns were soft & also tasteless. Had to add a lot of salt & pepper to even eat them. All the food was super hot though so it obviously came out right after it was ready. Waitress was friendly & attentive. No problem with switching English muffin for toast. Coffee was very hot & flavorful,but the only creamer available was flavored. This was fine by me, but if you were avoiding sugar or had diabetes, this wouldn't be a good thing. Need to offer plain creamer as well. I guess I could've asked if I'd needed or & maybe they have some somewhere. Won't return to this particular Le Peep again. First visit to this establishment was unfortunate as I ordered the salmon eggs Benedict. First off, I was alone this morning, it was half filled with customers, two tables who came in after me were served their orders before I was, and I had to order again when asked what I had ordered. I wasn’t in a rush so it wasn’t that bothersome. When I finally received my order, I was surprised by the poor quality and presentation of it. Smothered in sour cream, which I’ve never seen on eggs Benedict before, the supposed smoked salmon was actually cooked fish, wasn’t salmon, eggs and hollandaise sauce were watery, anyway, I took one bite, left the table, paid my bill and left the restaurant hungry and disappointed. Oh yeah, bottom of coffee cup was dirty, the cups are placed upside down on the bare table so that whatever was used to clean the table would be on the rim of the cup where my lips would touch, ugh, does the health department allow that?
