Well this is an odd one for me, but very deserving. I normally don't do bakery places, but some time ago I was able to try the White Chocolate Raspberry ND another time the Salted Caramel in the fall, for special occaisions. Those were Amazing! So, I saw this location and decided to see if they still had those still. Glad I went, because I actually found new great flavors, and something for my father here. Yup guys, believe it or not, something for dad at Nothing Bundt Cakes. I just finished my Blueberry Blitz (best blueberry anything I've ever eaten. Even better then my aunt's homemade blueberry pancakes in Oregon with fresh blueberries from their little orchard.) And...Hold on... Okay, I had to try one bite of the Lemon I was saving for tomorrow before I continued. The lemon wasn't much better than your standard lemon cake out of the box that you can make at home. A tip for the business... on the lemon cake and possibly others... make a good cream cheese style icing accept lemon flavored to give the cake more of a lemon zing. Maybe lemon zest in the icing... actually, pit it in the cake batter. Yeah add grated Lemon Zest to your lemon cake batter for more lemon flavor and some zip to it. It would be much more refreshing tasting and not just another heavy cake. It would be much better in the hot summer months ahead. Otherwise, while I was there there was a couple training on the system for their upcoming opening of their own franchise. They and the store staff were very helpful and didn't blink an eye to me changing my father's day gift from the lemon cake to the Pecan Praline at the last minute (my dad's favorite flavor in just about anything). Goodluck to you and your new baby (frachise). I hope all turns out at least close to what you expect. I forgot, in the fall I tried the salted carMel.from here at a different occasion ND it was awesome! So most of the flavors I've tried are just amazing. Lemon was just good and could use something to push it to the level of your other flavors, and the staff were great. Also, for those still worried about protecting themselves, they didn't have dividers up, and ALL wore masks. I'm not so concerned, so I don't wear one, and they didn't ask me to wear one either. Great place to find a good gift in a pinch, and get some great cakes. Thank you for your great service, with a smile, even at closing...
Read moreHorrible experience this evening. I came in needing a last minute gift for my daughter’s coach. The store had 3 employees and it was around 6:15 pm still plenty of time to pick up a few things. I walked in asked for 2 buntlets, say a cute happy birthday cup and also another drink ware item. I paid for the items and notices they just placed them in a bag and said have a good night. I said well I’d like it to look like the display with the 2 cakes in the happy birthday cup wrapped up. The employee said “oh then you’ll have to pay for the cellophane wrapping. I said no problem and she asked what color and rang me up. The other girl which I failed to get her name walks in the back, I’m waiting up front with the young lady who has rung me up. I told her I’m a little confused why the cakes are still in the bag and why they are being wrapped as requested. The girl comes out from the back and hands me a bag with the cellophane and ribbon, card and flower. Hmmm I told her I’m a little confused? I just paid for the cellophane wrapping and why isn’t it being wrapped as requested. Get this reply…… “mam since it wasn’t rung up in one transaction I can’t do that. I would have to void the TWO transactions and then wrap the items.” Tell me where in any of this customer service was provided???? I’m less than 10 minutes I’ve paid over $35 for items but since it wasn’t rung up in ONE transaction the employees can’t wrap them??? She saw my confusion and I said I don’t understand that. Finally….. she says I guess I can ask them in the back if they can do it? You guess? They only had 1 other customer and if a customer pays for the items why would something as simple as wrapping it up in cellophane be an issue? I don’t recommend this location and I’ll also be contacting the General Manager by email. Disappointed since I shop in locations all over DFW and NEVER had such a poor experience. It was the closing team on 7/18/22 if I was the Manager I’d definitely go over customer service and how to deliver that to all customers. No matter how much they order etc. Don’t shop at this location.
I wrapped it in the parking lot before my daughter’s class ended. Not as pretty as the display but since she couldn’t be bothered to...
Read moreI came here to get 30 mini bundts for a meeting. These needed to be individually wrapped to meet the functions criteria. These came perfect. The event was a tremendous success and this was most welcomed by all that participated. I chose the seasonal flavor of Strawberries and Cream. I had given about twenty four hours notice, but I was also not in a hurry. They were ready on time when I arrived. Each time I was in the store I was warmly greeted by the entire visible staff. The shop has a boutique like feel with plenty to see and choose from. There is a large stand / a massive collection of items to choose when ordering for a special occasion. I observed a person going through this and a helpful team member guiding the client to what their needs were and being helpful with suggestions or comments - kind of like a cake sommelier or bundt concierge. You wont get that when browsing online - that is definitely worth the time to come up and see in person, with some options and sizing near by it is a tremendous value for perspective on what you are ordering. The place was clean and well organized. I would recommend others try this place as far as chains go. There are some great smaller bakeries around town as well, but this was number one on the request list for the function I was...
