⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exceptional Experience at Sangria y Cerveza - Ask for Kenneth!
What an absolutely wonderful evening celebrating a milestone birthday with my dear friend and brother of over a decade! While we initially experienced some slower service at the bar, everything turned around once our orders came through - and wow, were those drinks worth the wait! Phenomenal doesn't even begin to describe the quality.
But the real star of our evening was our waiter Kenneth. This man is pure gold! His energy was infectious, his attention to detail was impeccable, and his commitment to our overall satisfaction was truly exceptional. Kenneth stayed on top of every aspect of our order and made sure we felt genuinely cared for throughout the entire evening. His personable nature and genuine warmth made our celebration feel extra special - he has that rare quality that makes you feel like you're dining with a friend rather than just being served.
The food was absolutely phenomenal, perfectly complementing those incredible drinks. But what really impressed me was how hands-on the ownership is - even the owners took time to check on us personally, which speaks volumes about their commitment to guest experience.
Bottom line: Ask for Kenneth when you visit! His outstanding service alone makes this place worth returning to, and combined with the exceptional food and drinks, Sangria y Cerveza has earned a permanent spot on our celebration venue list.
Highly recommend for anyone looking for great food, amazing drinks, and service that goes...
Read moreThe atmosphere was awesome here! I wanted to take half the decor home with me! Cool hangout for a happy hour or chill with friends!
I have a few suggestions but it’s not to say that I don’t want this place to make it, because it’s seriously a cool concept that just needs a little tweaking!
The good: The atmosphere, the chicken quesadilla, the shredded pork, the green sauce, the glasses for drinks! All amazing! Also, service was good, not amazing but good attitude and attentive. Oh, guac was great too! I wish I had tried some salsa.
The meh: Unfortunately the margaritas were pretty slushy, as I’ve read in other reviews. I’m hoping the consistency gets better! I’m also hoping for more tequila with a swirl of sangria! Great glasses though! Queso was room temp and wasn’t anything specials, maybe add some richness! The chips have to go, those were Tostitos for sure, but hoping for some fresh chips and tortillas in the future! Again, wish I had tried the salsa, but I think the chips would have ruined it for me.
Again, this isn’t to be harsh, just feedback for success from just one guy. I really hope this place makes it because it’s such a great hangout and atmosphere! I’ll be back to try...
Read moreI recently visited Sangria y Cerveza for the first time on Cinco de Mayo, and unfortunately, it will be my last. I was excited to check out their event specials, but my experience was disappointing from the start. Upon arrival, there was no greeter or staff member in sight. After some searching, I finally found a staff member to inquire about wait times or seating arrangements, but she rudely said, “We’re really busy,” and walked away.
I understand it was a holiday and things can get hectic, but it would have been helpful to receive guidance on where to sit and how to get service. After finding an open table, my friends and I waited about 30 minutes before we could flag someone down for assistance. Meanwhile, the same waitress I spoke to earlier walked by our table multiple times, completely ignoring us, while attending to everything under the sun but us.
After another 30 minutes without service, we decided to leave and find another place to eat. I’m frustrated that I wasted an hour and a half without being helped and felt treated poorly. This experience certainly ruined my holiday, and I won’t...
