I ordered a pizza yesterday 9/3/23 around 7:30pm. My order was delivered after 8:30pm by door dash not Pizza Hut. (Fine) upon me opening the box I notified my order was wrong. I ordered hand tossed but received thin crust. I hate thin crust. I immediately call the store and was told they didn’t have someone to bring it not even door dash. He could give me a credit tonight or I can call in the morning for a refund. (At this point I have no choice but to say okay) I called the store today 9/4/2023 after 11am the guy said he was super busy and for me to call back at 12noon. (Basically giving me the run around) I live 3 minutes aways I got into my car and headed to the store. Unpin my arrival the store doesn’t have any customers and no orders were being made at all. I tell the guy I just spoke with him and I need my refund. He immediately told me I was rude for asking for my money. I called the police and they told Him to refund me so they can go or be released. The guy mentioned he had to call and verify from the guy from last night and then it will take 24 to 48 hours to be released. I certainly wasn't expecting miracles with the horrid weather outside, but after an hour went by with no sign of the pizza and no updates given, I decided to call the store to check the status of my order. Simple--or so I thought. It has been two hours now; of the ten calls I've made, 5 of them have been directly hung-up on after I indicated I was calling about an existing order. For the other half I was smart enough to press 1 and beg someone on the order-taking side to check the status of my order, since side B doesn't seem to want to do any work today. (Which, by the way, how does that work exactly? How can they be ready to take your money but not ready to give updates once they've got it?) Guess what the results are? STILL NOTHING. I have no idea where my pizza is. I have no idea if it's been delivered. I have NO INFORMATION, and because of Pizza Hut's antiquated "nearest store only" system I can't even set up a different preferred delivery location! But oh, TRUST ME, I will not order from them again. I'd rather slip and slide around outside on the ice than go through this...
Read moreWhere to start . . . Their app is glitchy. Gets info wrong. Tried getting help thru their app support. Chat help never worked. 3.I ordered delivery, but the app set it to takeout. 4.The order could not be found because my phone number glitched and changed. 5.I called this in and when they forwarded me to the Windhaven location in Plano, Tx the automated phone system said “your call cannot be answered” and then hung up on me. 6.I called using google maps to find the number and called directly. 7.Your night manager was smart and figured out the problem, but only after giving me attitude. 8.I tried the feedback option on the app and, of course, it wasn’t working. 9.I asked them to let me know when they deliver the pizza to the hotel lobby. Of course, they didn’t. Too abt 45 mnts to deliver. Lastly, the pizza was cold and this restaurant is only abt 6 mnts away.
I only had it delivered because I am stuck at a hotel without a rental car. I have never done delivery with Pizza Hut. What a waste of time and money.
