Decided to check out this place after seeing all the rave reviews and photos. Was not disappointed! The ordering process was quick and easy, and the pizza was ready within 10-15 minutes. The owners said every meat item on their menu is hand slaughtered halal, so that’s an extra plus. Since we couldn’t decide which specialty pizza to try first, we decided to do an X-Large (16-in) half and half with 1/2 Spicy Chicken Naga and 1/2 Meat Lovers.
The Spicy Naga Chicken Pizza tastes like a really good butter chicken pizza but with a little extra kick to it, and the Meat Lovers pizza is also packed with flavor in every bite and theres a generous amount of meat spread throughout! For as much meat and sauce as there was in the pizza, fortunately it wasn’t too greasy and you won’t end up feeling bloated or like you’re having a GERD episode afterwards.
If you enjoy a NY thin crust style pizza or lots of flavor, this place will be right up your alley. If you’re a “pizza snob” who watches the One Bite pizza reviews, there’s a great amount of flavor and crisp in each bite, and I’d recommend waiting a few minutes before digging in so that you experience a stronger undercarriage and less flop with all the sauces and toppings these pizzas hold.
Had a chance to speak with one of the owners as well, and they were super generous and you can tell that these dudes are super passionate about their pizza! Definitely plan on coming back here often to try out their other...
Read moreOver the phone, I ordered an XL pizza with half Meat Lovers and half Naga Habanero Chicken for carryout. I asked for no cilantro on the Naga Habanero Chicken, and when the lady taking the order repeated it back to me, she had captured the "no cilantro". I was told a pickup of only 15 - 20 minutes, which I thought was really fast for a pizza. Arrived there in about 18 minutes, walked in and it was boxed and ready. Opened the box and the Naga Habanero Chicken had cilantro on it. I decided to not mention it, to not create a hassle, have to wait for a remake, etc. Plus, mistake happen, and this one wasn't a deal-breaker for me. Other than that, upon walking in and receiving looks, it felt like I was not what they expected to see as part of their customer base come through the door -- there was zero greeting. It was uncomfortable for about 1 second as I received the 'what is he doing here look'. I then felt the need to immediately explain "I placed a carryout order for XXX", that's why I am here. They acknowledged the order and I proceeded to pay. Regarding the pizza itself, I totally anticipated the different flavors based on the concept, other reviews, etc. Both pizzas were good, with non-traditional pizza flavors, and with a little spice, so I have no issue there. I probably won't return though, purely based on the reaction to me walking...
Read morePlease adjust your wait time. We ordered 3 pizzas for the soonest time available and it said they would be ready in 20 minutes. We planned our trip accordingly and when we arrived at the time the text confirmation said our pizzas would be ready, we were told it would be about 10 minutes and were offered a free canned drink, which we appreciated. After 10 minutes passed, we went in to check on our pizzas and were told they were in the oven. Be so for real! What is the point of ordering ahead of time just for our time to be wasted. If we knew up front that it would be a longer wait, that would have been fine and we would have coordinated on when to leave to pick up our pizzas. This is just poor business practice and subpar customer service. It’s really a shame because their pizzas are really good. After another 10 minutes, our pizzas were FINALLY ready. Again, we would have been perfectly fine with it taking 40 minutes for our pizzas to be ready but it’s not ok to mislead your customers with unrealistic wait times that end up doubling in the end. I hope this issue can be rectified in the future, as we would really like to be...
