Excellent small local bakery run by a couple and their adult son, specializing in desserts such as cakes, pies and cookies. We love their frosted brownies which are surprisingly light with a yummy frosting. They are very unique compared to the usual heavy fudge style variety. I really haven't had ANYTHING that was less than 'really good' and most items are fantastic.
They also have lunch entrees like Chicken salad and sandwiches, and have recently started creating food items to-go that you bake yourself or pre-prepared side dishes. Ive tried a few of them and I was really impressed.
The only drawback is that their display space is rather limited because they are a small store. They have a great variety of items, but they are on rotation due to space and expected sales. I would presume their selection is mostly governed by whatever special orders they have for that day. i.e. if someone ordered brownies, they will bake extra and put em out. Therefore if you don't see many pies for example, don't assume they don't create them. They will happily do special orders, even fairly small ones at no additional cost if you have a particular favorite.

Read moreWent there after visiting a business nearby as an afterthought. Should have skipped it. I got their Plum Chicken Salad, a vanilla petit four, butterscotch brownie, and a red velvet cupcake. Nothing was good expect for their attitude and service. The man that served me was a delight. The chicken salad is dry and the ingredients are minced up so small they barely stay on the fork. The petit four tasted okay, though not the vanilla flavor it proclaimed, the middle had a pocket about the size of a nickel of pure flour. The butterscotch brownie was no brownie and had no butterscotch flavor, it was more like a date bar that had been left out and uncovered for a week. The cupcake had a good amount of chocolate flavor but none of the tangy profile expected with red velvet. The frosting was even the typical cream cheese variety, it was the same frosting they use on everything else with a small "rim" of cream cheese frosting. Everything tasted and had the texture of over processed baked goods left out too long. The food was a complete disappointment--took off 1 star for each failed food item. The only reason I left any stars was for the friendliness of...
Read morecame in from out of town and saw this was a place to visit. i warn others not to! when we arrived at the store there was one set of cookies put out in the entire restaurant. the owner turned away another customerâs order because he said he wasnât sure if they would have it available for them and suggested she come back at noon to see what products they had available. the store opened at 10 am!! there was no products to sell, turning away customers already, and the owner indicated they were baking some things in the back to put out in the front to sell. news flash: that is why you get there earlier to make the products to sell, have your displays full of bakery items ready to go, and be ready to take orders at 10 am when you open OR change your operating hours to later. very disappointed when i arrived. pictures on their website are false advertising as none of these products were offered to buy. would give negative stars if able, very disappointing. definitely wouldnât recommend this bakery, especially if you came from out of town. there are way better bakeries in plano to go to that actually have the products available to buy and eat...
