Since you replied my feedback, I'd like to clarify so that you can understand more from a customer perspective.
First, I mentioned below that is ok if you remind the customer the first time. But at a later time when I just ordered the vegetables, the servers even didn't check the order first and kept asking me to not order more. I had to explain that I just tried to order the veggie only. It was not too much food on the table as you told, there were three plates of meat. We didn't have any veggie left, no shrimp, no meat balls...What's wrong with ordering something else even we still had some meat. I never had same issue for any other AYCE hot pot places.
Second, the part that your servers delete was not just the meat. When I ordered the instant noodle plus the veggie, he just ordered the veggie and deleted the noodle. I was waiting like 15 mins and then had to check the order and realized that no noodle was ordered.
Maybe this is how your restaurant operates and you did have very good feedback from most of the customers but not this time. Iâve been in a lot hot pot places around Plano, Frisco, GarlandâŚboth a la carte and AYCE. This time it was a disappointment to me and family for the following reasons: Meat, veggie selections and quality: Thereâs only one type of beef, lamb, pork and chicken. One type of meat ball, fish ballâŚI can tell the selections are very limited. Whenever I tried to order something else, the servers kept repeating that I need to finish everything on the table first before I can continue ordering and there will be charge if I have leftovers. One time is fine, but they repeated that every single time I ordered even I just ordered vegetables only. Thatâs so weird because this is AYCE and I paid 30$/each and I just wanted to have some more veggies. Last but not least, so I have to order using an Ipad and the server needed to be there to submit to the kitchen. And the server deleted part of my orders without asking my opinion. Whatâs going on here? Iâm an adult and responsible for what I ordered so if I have leftovers I will be willing to pay for the fee. The server deleted my order for ONE INSTANT NOODLE which is for my daughters.
I will never come back even the broth is quite good which is why I...

TL:DR Snapshot 3 different pricing tiers for all-you-can-eat ($40, $50, $70) that correspond to what kind of Wagyu you get. The rest of the ingredients, veggies, seafood, and more are buffet style. I suggest if you're new to hot pot, have the waiter help you out ordering and make a sauce for you. I also believe that the best way to experience this restaurant is getting the most expensive option and going here on a date night or special occasion.
Full Review: Upon walking in the door, there was absolutely no wait and we were seated immediately. Our server was extremely polite, knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful in explaining to us how the hot pot restaurant functioned. He gave us plenty of time to look over the menu, helped us order when we were ready, and even helped us with our buffet ingredients!
The 3 different pricing tiers correspond each category of Wagyu: USA ($40) Australian ($50) Japanese ($70)
It's all-you-can-eat, but the process is partially ordering the entree items (super easy and on an iPad), and buffet style for drinks, veggies, sauces, and sides. After ordering, the waiter brings the hot pot soup base before serving the ordered entrees. Everything else is for you to go to the buffet and grab as needed.
Our server was very attentive and accommodating, accompanying us to the sauce bar after bringing out the food so he could make for us some pro sauces.
Upon getting seated with everything you could need or want, the experience truly begins. Make sure to give all the food appropriate time to cook if you are new, and remember to eat slow so you can keep trying everything you're sampling.
Conclusion: The food was absolutely excellent at this restaurant and everything was most delicious. The atmosphere was spectacular but what really made this a first-class experience was the service. Without the waiter that we had who was so present and hospitable, the experience just wouldn't have been the same.
I would highly suggest Squares Hot Pot to anyone seeking a special and delicious restaurant meal, regardless of any previous experience in the hot...
Read moreI had high hopes for this place but my experience feel way short. The service was absolutely the worst I have had anywhere ever. They just walk off when they hand you their menu which is on an iPad. I was able to make my order okay, but didn't know what I needed to do after it was done. I had to walk to the register and just hand the tablet to the checkout person. When the food did come out to make my hot pot, I had to ask three different times to get all of the ingredients I ordered. Instead of having sauces and spices at the table, they opted to have a salad bar that contains all of these items that self service. It's a neat idea, but the bar was disgusting and not stocked. They had waiters all over but none would come and bring me water, napkins or utensils. Their glass noodles needed to be cut up. They were feet long and all you have are chopsticks. The only way to get them out is to make a mess. They then put a assembled 9 way divider in their soup bowl that is slotted, so you can only get one type of broth. The divider makes it even harder to get your soup prepared. Their soup bowls are the size of teacups which is impossible to put anything in, especially noodles, shrimp, or anything wider than a golf ball. Again, made a huge mess and no napkins. I took the slotted divider out which fell apart all over the table.
Lastly the broth was all oil. I asked for to-go containers so I can take this mess home and possibly freeze it so I can laddle all the fat off the top in hopes of eating it.
Don't waste your time here. You can have an awesome hot pot experience at Zhbukis right down the street on 75. The only reason there were so many people there was because it's new, it's Saturday night and there are 100,000 Asian people that live at the intersection of Coit and Spring Creek.
And if you really want good soup, just go across the street to Texas Pho...1000 times better than this unorganized, sloppy establishment!!!
I took the soup home and removed over 8 oz of just oil out of the soup. See my pictures...that's just what I could skim off the top. The soup is still full of oil. Very, very low...
