Carpenter Park — Attraction in Plano

The turf is hard and rough. Rules are strict. We were threatened with $500 fines for the following:

I played in a frisbee tournament here and we weren’t allowed music, food , or liquids other than water. Imagine playing 4, 80min sports games with no snacks. It’s not feasible. It’s a safety issue to me; it’s 105F outside.

The turf isn’t rubber, it’s small rocks with green coloring. You will get turf burn and no cushion on this turf. Oh yeah, and spectators can’t sit with the team, they are forced to sit in the stands. And no chairs on the turf.
