Taco Delite — Restaurant in Plano

I just went thru the drive thru and I felt hurried from the get go, rudely rushed. I asked about chips & he said they came with it and than I asked for sour cream and he said it comes with it. (Which I found out later is not true) but that's ok we are all human & make mistakes (including myself). So I left drive thru & walked inside because I didn't get my chips or sour cream. And I wasn't loud or obnoxious I just asked if I was suppose to get chips the girl said, yes. But with an attitude. Also asked about sc she said well you have to pay for it (with an attitude). I even offered to pay, she said no just take it. (With an attitude). I will never I mean never go to this place again because of the way I was made to feel when I walked in. I don't understand it was your mistake what's with the attitude, not all customers you get their order wrong are horrible. You should treat us (everyone) with respect. I just wanted what I had coming to me, without the attitude. I really hope this helps for your future customers because if it doesn't change you will slowly lose all of your customers one by one. It's simple an unhappy customer walks in, oh I'm so sorry I apologize we forgot your chips sorry for the inconvenience, and here take the sc at no charge. I'm sorry, anything else I can get you? Thank you (that's what should've happened). I'm really not that person that complains about everything, I just want my order right. i love this place been coming here for years i go atleast once a week unfortunately this past month i was in the hospital with covid19 pneumonia and a blood clot in my lung and sure enough the only food i could think of was taco delite on 14th as we know it finally after a month im out still recovering but able to order our 6 taco 2 meat nacho chips and guacamole it was my first time ordering for delivery so i was kinda worried but when it showed up the food was perfect it was just as if i went to pick it up myself i wanna say thanks to yalls great team and a special thanks to 3 very special people that i interact with every time ALICIA, ELIZABETH JASON they are happy always smiling never a dull moment when we see them they make our day and the food is always made perfect a shout out to the rest of the taco delite on 14th tram that i never get to see keep up the great work

First time experience at Taco delite ... never been but the reviews say this is a must try place for crispy tacos.

In summary ... it is. Before I get to the food, the man working the register was awesome. He answered all my newbie questions like what's the difference between a taco and a supreme taco and a taco delite. The people making the food were super fast and the food still looked great.

The taco is filled perfectly ... the way most taco places advertise but rarely live up to. Meat lettuce cheese ... I switched between the fresh salsa and the taco sauce. The winner for me was the fresh salsa!

We also had soft tacos and a tostada and a combo burrito. Equally delicious and well prepared. The combo burrito tasted like the homemade burritos we make ourselves .... nom nom.

The surprise was a suggestion by the staff .. the taco burger. Soooooo good. I wont try to explain it. Just try it ......
