Tacos Chaco — Restaurant in Plano

Tacos were good, but the tortillas arw white corn. Im a yellow corn guy. Small tacos but very we'll filled no complaints at all there. I got 3 tripa and 3 campechanos. I was asked how crispy i wanted the tripa which is always a big plus, the campechanos were a mix of asada and possibly pastor or chorizo. Both we're good tasting. Came with onions, cilantro, grilled onions, and a small fried potato on the side (something some traditional Mexican taquerias often do). I got a green and a red salsa both were great and not too hot. Customer service was great, a lady who was one of the 2 cooks gave me a small tostada to eat while i waited for my order (which was actually a very usual or even short wait) im not from the area but ill probably stop by again...

I ordered the barbacoa taco plate, the meat did not seem cooked all the way, and it did not taste very well. The rice and beans did not taste homemade. In opinion it tasted like it came from a can. The salsa was okay but not very spicy. With that being said, the customer service was amazing, I asked the gentleman who took my order if I could exchange the tacos for something else. He was very understanding and made me steak tacos. The steak taco were good. Also I noticed this location does not use gloves when cooking or handling food. Also the menu is not up to date. Saw this place on google while searching for a taco place close to home and let me tell you…. The food and service is really good! We sat down after we ordered and Eriberto handed us two tostadas for us to try them as a welcoming!!! 😃😃 The tacos are great! I had the Carnitas, pastor, chorizo,chicken and all was well seasoned and juicy!!!! My husband also ordered camarones a la diabla and he loved them! The dish comes with rice, beans and homemade corn tortillas! They have a little stand where they have the sides for the tacos for you to help yourself, the salsas are so good and you can put as much as you like! Over all the place is great!
