Whataburger — Restaurant in Plano

UPDATE June 2022: WOW! Its been forever (Apr 2020) since we have been here. This was one of the first places that had a drive-thru open after start of virus crises. Now as the character Jules Winnfield says in movie 'Pulp Fiction'; Mmm-mmmm. That is a tasty burger. Vincent, ever have a Big Kahuna Burger? That sums the burgers here. Tough competition in Collin County for your burger appetite which accounts for why we haven't been here sooner. Whataburgers always taste better when you have a generous discount for another burger as a loyalty club member which brought us in. Fast and prompt service. HINT: on hot summer Sunday if you come for lunch the best shade for car can be found next door at Taco Deli as they are closed on Sunday. Park fronting Coit Road. This location has become absolutely terrible. I should have taken a pic of the first Whataburger they tried to serve me. I had ordered a combo #1. I took the burger up to the counter open face, and the cashier's face, who was the only nice thing about this place, showed it all. I didnt have to say anything. She sent it back to the manager, who looked at it and asked her "what?". It turns out the manager actually put together the burger which was an old patty, a few small clumps of the white lettuce stub, wilted tomoatoes, and so much mustard and ketchup that i couldnt tell where the onions were. The manager reluctantly re-made the burger which was the same, just with more giant chunks of the white stubs of lettuce, a few wilted green slithers, wilted tomatoes and even more ketchup. I was hungry. I ate it. I've been coming to this location for many years. This visit being so bad as a result of the food a manager prepared herself, was our last visit to this location. This Whataburger location is great! It really is and sometimes ppl make mistakes which is why it’s a 4 star…..but I would give it 4.5…..but after thinking about it while writing this review I changed it to 5….i can always forgive but I never forget! This place was a LIFE saver during the Dalaska snow storm in 2021…..even thru the storm and the long lines they delivered and recently they forgot to put my patty melt in the bag…..I was kinda upset bc I was hungry at least the kids got their food right.

So when things calmed down I called and the rockstar Mrs Dolores was soooo calm and professional and just a great person explained to me just come back with the receipt and the whole team on notice we will take care of it….any time any day….
