I absolutely wanted to love this new business, but was very surprised. My husband and I went in yesterday during a nice and casual Sunday, for a cute day date because we have had our eye on all of the new spots there in the area (Across from EPIC Masjid) which is our go-to Masjid, so naturally, all of the new places in this plaza are new and very beautiful. We love supporting local businesses, especially halal businesses at that - and if the service and food are great, we are customers!
We went in and there wasn't anyone there, but maybe 2-3 people sitting outside. The entire place is brand new, so very modern and aesthetically pleasing. There were about three people working, no music, just a very quiet environment. The gentleman was taking our order, although, seemed welcoming in the beginning as we walked in, was very dry for being customer facing and at the very front taking your order. He was not asking if we needed any help, if we had any questions, quite literally nothing. We had our own one or two questions about the menu, and he answered them quickly and very dry, without even making too much eye contact in fact. The others in the restaurant were just on their phones and hanging around.
Their menu is straight forward and simple which we liked, but it was almost too simple and just not as exciting. It would be a place to go into for just a quick lunch, or just to-go. Once we ordered, the food was done in less than five minutes (We watched the gentleman prepare it) and everything seemed to sit under a warmer... like no cooking was done? We got two wraps and they were good, but the french fries that came out were cold / room temperature. Not sure. We were expecting to wait 10-20 minutes due to preparing and made to order food. The order was done and he just called us to come up. We were expecting more service such as other restaurants, especially with there being a tip option during checkout so typically, you will be waited on, the food will be brought to you, possibly condiments or anything else you may need? Not here, sadly.
I hope with time they were improve on their staff and customer service, and always making sure the food is made to order even if the seasoning and other ingredients taste good, the food should still always be cooked to order and hot for the customer. Restaurants are word of mouth, so this is super important to get customers in! We may possibly check them out again at...
Read moreI had lunch today at Wraps and Bites in East Plano and decided to try the Sahara Style Bowl. Instead of my usual, I went with the beef, and it was a great choice! The bowl was a perfect combination of rich, savory flavors. The seasoned beef was juicy and tender, piled high over a bed of fluffy, aromatic rice. The addition of crisp lettuce provided a fresh contrast to the warm, hearty meat and rice. What really tied the entire dish together was the Sahara sauce. This creamy, garlicky, and slightly spicy sauce was drizzled generously over everything, making each bite incredibly delicious. The portion size was very satisfying, and the price felt right for the quality and amount of food. This is definitely a bowl I would get again—a fantastic option if you're looking for a filling and flavorful meal without the usual vegetables like tomatoes...

The service is excellent. They're very friendly and fast. The decor in the restaurant is AMAZING. There's plenty of seating and everything is super clean and classy looking with greenery. It's very serene and jazz is playing in the background. The bathroom is the cleanest restaurant bathroom I've ever been to and the toilet is a fancy toilet!! The toilet seat is even heated Trust me when I say going here is worth it and it will make you have a fantastic breakfast or...
