Grande Pizza — Restaurant in Plantation

So many great pizzerias in Broward. We usually try different places when we can. In 16 years, this is THE WORST food hands down from ANY place I have ever ordered. We ordered several items. The Philly cheesesteak was like minced Steak-ums meat. Paid extra for mushrooms peppers and onions. Not there. Meatball sub tasted like a couple frozen meatballs slapped onto a hoagie roll. Sicilian pizza? Don’t get me started. My kids frozen Totinos pizza from the day before would be considered a deluxe meal compared to this $25 freezer burned junk. Ordered fried mushrooms, got fried zucchini which was gross. Arancini? Do you all even know what that is?! I put a photo of one cut in half. JUST LOOK AT IT. They literally took pasted rice and tossed in some Panko and called it a day. Mozzarella sticks…. Same! Who makes mozzarella sticks with crusty burnt panko?! The oil needs to be changed as everything tasted like burnt grease. You are better off opening a can of Publix sauce than what they put on their pizza. Add garlic to a Stromboli and they shoved so much raw garlic in it we were choking. Being an Italian I eat cooked garlic by the handfuls daily so a lot of garlic is great…… but COOK IT. This place is a joke. I wasn’t going to write anything but looking at the massive amount of leftover food we have because none of us wanted to eat it is depressing and a waste. Also not fair to the other great pizza places that people do not order from to order this garbage and waste money like we did. Disgusting and total rip-off for what you get and they charge. $100 and my 5 yo won’t even touch it. I don’t believe any of these reviews AT ALL. First time ordering and you can select a specific time. which I thought was perfect for my schedule. Since I had to visit a in bound neighbor I selected 6:45 pm; the order came at 6:17 thank God I was home about to go out. The driver was courtesy and apologetic and I put the building number in special notes as I know this is crucial in my community , thank God the driver knew the area. The pizza was Luke warm and the Italian salad as they described for $14.00 dollars had NO ROMAINE as describe and was scanty and FEW garbanzos as described in the salad for $14.00 salad. the salad was just small for $14,00 more less a side salad. I am so sad, as I was looking forward to a wonderful salad and pizza. Placed the order at 5:30 pm so 6:45 pm was plenty of time to get it right. Just disappointed and I do not like to give bad review but,,,,,? When I called to advice them "just so they can coach the prepares or cooks" the manager was just rude , really and when I mentioned someone from my community told me how good they were, she put me on the phone with that person, who is a server and has nothing to do with the order on line. How embarrassing. I did not want anything from them just to coach or realize 6:45 pm is not 6:17 when ordering on line and the $14.00 salad is not what it is cracked up to be. The manager embarrassed me with the server who recommended. How unprofessional. Not even to recognize that it was delivered 30 minutes before the time scheduled ,,,,, not even to..... just simply apologize but put the server who recommended their establishment on the phone and not apologize to me, I am so...

Almost no toppings on pie, not even the veggies. Unbelievable how little toppings there are. The quality is not there.

Would not honor $5.00 off coupon when using cash as we "only" spent $49.25 before taxes instead of $50.00. Only 75 cents will cost a lot more in lost business, just from me. We've been ordering pies from here for years.

Time to remove them from phone contacts and find one of the 500 other pizza joints to use.

UPDATE; I have noticed that the owner does respond to complaints but always the same thing. He never offers to refund or give a credit, he always says he is sorry and "will address with staff". But never accepts responsibility, just throws the blame on his staff.

We have since ordered from another type of restaurant and they made a mistake on one of the dishes and when we called they IMMEDIATELY admitted the problem was theirs and gave us a credit. Smart move for them as they know we will spend more then the credit for the one dish because we order for 2+ people each time. This was our first time using this place but it will not be the last. They will probably get the money we would have...
