Tea.Lab — Restaurant in Plantation

Tea Lab is a new bubble tea shop located in Jacaranda Plaza on West Sunrise Boulevard near the intersection with North University Drive in Plantation. They are next to Wing Stop.

I came in during the soft opening and it looked like some construction is still going on in the back. What was finished was bright and welcoming with floral decorations and counter and bench seating.

The menu is divided into milk teas, fresh milk, fresh fruit tea, slushies, smoothies, match drinks, and sparkling soda. They even offer kid drinks with mini strawberry and chocolate milk and boba. I saw on their website that they are going to offer breakfast items like cinnamon rolls, a breakfast burrito, waffles, pancakes, and eggs benedict.

They had my favorite lychee fruit tea and I added my beloved strawberry popping boba for an additional 95 cents. Other toppings and add ins include custard milk pudding, aloe jelly, rainbow jelly. grass jelly, lychee jelly, whipping cream, crystal boba, taro nd matcha pudding, and jasmine tea pudding. I appreciate that you can customize your drink for endless possibilities.

My lychee tea was refreshing and the perfect sweetness. I love how they added pieces of lychee to the drink and the popping boba was the perfect addition. I enjoyed my drink down to the last drop. Pretty good drinks, experience is kind of random in terms of air space on top of the drinks. For example, the strawberry matcha latte is on the right. Good punch card system makes me want to drive 40 min to come here.

Editing to address the owner’s reply: I am thankful to the owner to inspect my review and for quality and accuracy and respond carefully. However, I am surprised by the dismissive nature of the reply so I feel there are some discrepancies I feel like I need to explain. I did actually ask for more matcha as I felt it was a little low. For reference compare to the images in others’ reviews. If you compare to any of the images, there is significantly less green(matcha portion) and red(strawberry portion). What I got in terms of abundance was strawberry milk, air, matcha, strawberry topping. Note that I gave 4 stars originally and did not base my entire review off of this single experience. However I do believe in consistency and transparency in reviews. That being said, establishments do change over time, as do their recipes, service, and drink quality.

My daughter and I stumbled upon Tea Lab in Plantation earlier this week while leaving my chiropractor, and we decided to return over the weekend to check it out.

From the moment we stepped inside, we were charmed by the cozy and inviting atmosphere. The decor was adorable, and we felt right at home.

We decided to try the Oreo Brûlée milk tea and the Crème Brûlée milk tea, and we were not disappointed. The teas were made to order, ensuring they were fresh and bursting with flavor. My daughter especially enjoyed her Oreo Brûlée milk tea, finding it creamy and delicious, although she mentioned she'd skip the Boba next time. As for me, the Crème Brûlée milk tea was a delightful treat that I'll definitely be ordering again.

The two ladies working there were incredibly friendly and greeted us warmly upon our arrival. They were happy to offer suggestions, which led me to try the Crème Brûlée milk tea, a decision I didn't regret.

Additionally, my daughter was thrilled to receive some stickers as a special surprise before we left.

Overall, our experience at Tea Lab was fantastic. With its refreshing teas, friendly service, and charming ambiance, it's the perfect spot for a relaxing drink. We can't wait to return and explore more flavors from their menu.
