Terrible smoothie king experience. I arrived to the sunrise location and I had to use the restroom before placing order. And immediately the young lady at the front ( I arrived on Friday, Apr 23, 2021, 4:45pm ) told me I can’t use the restroom, it’s only for employees. I told her that I was going to place an order but she refused to allow me to use the restroom. Then on top of that when I was placing my order for $5 Friday and $6 Meal replacement smoothie they inform me that they no longer give that offer of $5 and $6 smoothies. Instead now customers are charged an extra $1 for the 32 oz smoothies. They changed the pricing to overcharge loyal CHAMPION status customers without any reasonable explanation ( I called Smoothies King customer service number). They simply shrugged it off and wish you a nice day. Of course my family and I will not being coming back to smoothie king until they care about their customers and stop trying to trick their loyal customers to overpay for the same smoothie. They will lose 7 smoothies I used to purchase every week and I’m sure others will protest about being tricked to overpay. Read moreI usually have a great experience at this location but today I ordered a smoothie through the mobile app and picked it up. A few minutes after leaving and tasting the smoothie, I realized it tasted bitter/watery. I come to the location at least 3/4 times a week and never have had an issue with a smoothie, and I order the SAME strawberry blueberry activator smoothie ALL THE TIME. I called the store and explained to the workers about the smoothie tasting weird and I asked if it could be remade and I pick it up. Instead of simply just offering to remake it, the girls proceeded to question me about the smoothie and her coworker in the background said it doesn’t make sense for them to remake it because it’s going to taste the same. Instead of bickering with me about a smoothie I drink all the time from this location, why not just remake it? I wasn’t going to go back and forth with the two ladies on the phone about MY SMOOTHIE so I simply hung up. I will never ever bring my business to this location ever again. My order was supposed to be ready @11:44a today, I arrived at approximately 11:46a. This location does not have a fridge for online orders. Therefore, when I arrived, the smoothie was quite watery on top and spilling out of lid (pretty sure it had been ready before 11:44a). I didn't complain, however, because it wasn't that big of a deal. When I walked outside, I poured out some of the top(the watery part). One of the employees (black male with dreads) ran out of the store after me yelling "yoo you're a B**!! *Please Note I didn't say anything to these employees other than " I have an online order for Amber." If he became that angry because I poured out some of the smoothie... that I Paid For!! He shouldn't be employed anywhere. And luckily for him and this store, I am only writing a review. This could have ended badly had he followed someone else out of the store...
