I loved the products they offered, but was very disappointed in the ordering process. I followed the instructions for ordering on the website, but it still took weeks to get the product (missing the event it was purchased for by a long shot) including more than a full week of the chocolate in transit, risking ruining the item. I had lots of trouble getting a response about the delay, ending with no responsibility being taken. When I asked for compensation, they offered a discount on a future order, but never delivered on it. I assume purchasing in store is fine, but ordering online for out-of-state customers was not.

The response they offered to this comment was full of the same unmet promises and inaccurate explanations that they provided during all the trouble I had with the order. To reiterate: neat products, unacceptable...

I will ALWAYS refer people to The Truffle Cottage! Not only is the craftsmanship absolutely phenomenal, their chocolate is superb. My family has been enjoying the chocolate here for years now, and quality is consistent every time it arrives. I recently ordered The GOT baby dragon egg for my mom in Southern California; there was a debacle with FedEx that delayed delivery from 2 days (what I paid for) to 8 days when it was finally delivered. Jenne was amazing through the whole ordeal, and even offered to make a new one and send it USPS at no cost to me (we declined because it arrived, albeit banged up). The Truffle Cottage is definitely the go to for an outsanding gift for the people you love!

Ordered a breakable millennial falcon for my boyfriend for Valetine's Day. Was so excited for it to come, but unfortunately FedEx never delivered the package and it got sent back to the Truffle Cottage. That part was sad but I could deal with it. What made my experience a 1 star (would give less if I could) is the management. I repeatedly emailed with barely any responses wanting/hoping to get a refund but wanted a new falcon sent so my boyfriend could have his Valentine's Day gift. The management is so bad here that I had to go through my bank to dispute and get a refund finally after almost a month of trying to get a response from the company.
