My husband and I were out running errands today and thought we would stop by Burger King at 5494 E University Ave, Pleasant Hill, IA 50327. We went to the drive thru and the girl taking our order was obviously preoccupied talking about personal stuff with someone else with her. We started to give the order, which she messed up and asked over and over the same questions. She said “I’m trying to do two things at once”. He was getting frustrated by the same question over and over. Not saying anything bad, just annoyed tone. She stated “I hate people”, and continued to take our order with the same questions over and over. Then she said other very negative, rude comments and when my husband said, “You know I can hear you”, she replied “Yes, I know”. When he had enough, he did not finish the order, but instead went inside and wanted to talk to the Manager. The Manager did the same, didn’t care and when the employee at the drive-up came to stand next to the Manager, they both were laughing, thinking this was very funny to treat customers with total disrespect. We will not be visiting that Burger King ever again. I did sent a message to National, since I tried to call and could not get a hold of a live person. If this is how Burger King does business, I can spend my $30-$40 somewhere else. Lots of options and not have rude employees.

I ordered my food and the guy that was taking my order his tone was very rude and he sounded like he didn’t want to be at work. I asked him to repeat my order back to me. He began to read my order back and I noticed he didn’t repeat everything back to me so I corrected him. He began to get snappy and in a rude tone he said, “the kitchen can hear what you’re saying.” I told him I didn’t know that. Then the manager got on the headset and began yelling at me saying that the employee walked away from taking my order because I was being mean. I began to tell the lady that they were being rude to me. She told me she was refusing to take my order. As I began to pull off an employee at the drive thru window began making threatening gestures towards me. We exchanged words and the manager kept saying things about my kids because they were crying. One of the employees tried asking for my number It was a mess and everybody in there needs to be fired. This needs to be reported...
Read moreI ordered mozzarella sticks and the original chicken sandwich with bacon, along with a large fry. The service was okay, but the food was terrible. They had me pull aside to continue preparing my meal, and when they finally brought it out, I was hoping it would be the best fast food meal I've had in a long time. Unfortunately, it turned out to be the worst. The chicken patty and the bread were mushy, almost as if the sandwich had been frozen and reheated, leaving it warm on the outside but cold and soggy inside. The mozzarella sticks and fries tasted like they had been frozen and cooked at too high a temperature, resulting in a warm outside and a cold inside. The person who took my payment and brought out the food even joked about sharing my food with my dog in the car. To salvage a bit of the experience, I gave him a small piece of bacon(the rest ended up in the trash). Strangely enough, shortly after that, my dog developed diarrhea.
