McDonald's — Restaurant in Pleasant Prairie

If I could give this place negative stars... I would. Giving them one is too many! I ordered my normal... Two Filet-O-Fish an unsweetened iced tea. First, they gave me sweetened tea. Then I look at my first Filet-O-Fish. It has half a piece of cheese on it. I look at the second one... It also has a half a piece of cheese on it. I went to the counter and said these are supposed to have a whole piece of cheese. Very rude... The lady at the counter said, "no they don't". I said I have been eating Filet-O-Fish sandwiches for 50 years. They come with a full piece of cheese. She said abruptly, "I have worked here for 15 years Filet-O-Fish sandwiches never had a full piece of cheese". Then I showed her the picture of a Filet-O-Fish on poster in the window... Clearly seeing it was a full piece of cheese. She said, "no that is a half piece of cheese". Obviously she forgot her glasses... Or saw she was caught in a fib. Either way, a good manager would have said, "let me check on that" or "let me get you another half piece of cheese". POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I will never go back to...

I went to the drive trough and asked if they could do 3 separate orders, and the man replied in a very rude tone "no". With no explanation. so I took my Businesses else where. Upon arriving at A different McDonald I asked for the same thing but the lady politely explained to me that they are not allowed to take separate orders in the drive trough, I was fine with this because I had at least had gotten an answer.

It dose not end their sadly. Today my girlfriend tried to order and upon arriving at the window to pay for her meal they failed to tell her that their credit card machine was out of order and they said "you can wait until we reboot the system" and she had to be to work in about 15 minutes. She asked how long that would take the man asked his manager and she responded "who the f* knows". She responded with "Well I do not have any cash, and I can't wait that long" then the man gave her, her card back and said with an attitude "well then I guess that is not my problem"

DO NOT go to this Mc Donald's and avoid it at all costs. Service is unbearable and food...

We take kids here on rainy days to get the energy out in the play land area. The playset and the tables in that section of the restaurant are usually very dirty and there is a strong smell. Employees tend to "forget" to clean that area and it quickly becomes unusable as kids drop and spill stuff quite a bit there. There is a policy posted on the playset stating that no kids older than 12 are allowed and that socks are required - nobody enforces that policy and you often see teenagers and parents who barely fit on the playset climbing it. Playset itself is dirty as a lot of kids don't wear socks and their feet are less than clean especially in summer months. Plan on scrubbing your kid thoroughly after playing there. As far a the food - pretty typical McDonald's experience - it's eatable if you're lucky, fries are fresh if you happen to walk in right when they come out of the frier other times they are stale. Your order is taken and prepared by a high school kid so don't count on it being accurate...
