Ive been a lane bryant customer for almost a decade. I buy the same style, same color bra, a few times a year. Once I find something I like, I buy it over and over again. The past year or 2 I have noticed the decline in material quality and overall lifespan of the garments. But wouldnt you know it, prices are same or higher than before.
This past week I again, as I have for YEARS...went online and placed the same ol order. I ordered 3 bras ALL in a 40F
1 bra fit perfectly, 1 bra was entirely way too large and 1 bra was so small I couldnt even clasp it closed.
I measured and the waistband in the too small bra was a 34in even though it was labeled a 40.
The bra that was too big measured a 41.5in even though it was labeled 40.
And wouldnt you know it, the bra that fit perfect was 40in as it was labeled.
That is insane, it shows the complete lack of quality control and inconsistency on behalf of their manufacturers. Its absolutely laughable. 40 is not subjective.
Unfortunately I am returning the bras, and sadly will be now forced to go from store to store to store until I find something else I like...because I dont want to spend another one of my hard earned dollars on a corp that is outsourcing manufacturing, lacking quality control at their customers expense. I made excuses for the decline in quality because the bras fit still, better then anyone elses...but now, not even...
Read moreAs a former LB employee, my visit today was very disappointing. This was my first time at this location. I browsed for 5-10 minutes without seeing an employee. I finally saw a single girl walk behind the counter and set an arm full of bras down, seemingly on the phone, however I know she was doing ships. She didnt look up once to acknowledge myself or the other two clients in the store. I had to track her down to ask about a fitting room (not knowing where they were) and was met with, "use any of them, they're all empty." They were not... I won't be returning, unfortunately.
