Teriyaki Grill& China Town — Restaurant in Pleasant Prairie

We ordered teriyaki chicken from Teriyaki Grill. Waited a while for my order even though I was clearly next in line. The guy who was cooking kept calling out the number right before my number. He called it out several times, then disappeared into the back.

The cashier then came over and told me the order sitting up on the counter was in fact mine. So the cook had been calling out the wrong number all that time. In the meantime, my order sat there uncovered and getting cold for minutes.

When we finally ate it, the chicken was crunchy as if it was overcooked with not much flavor. Probably the worst teriyaki chicken that we've ever had from one of these food court places, and it was overpriced on top of it....

Our 13 year old son went there with a group of friends. He bought an $8 meal and asked if he could pay with a $50. The employee said she could make change. She brought him his change with no receipt. After he finished his meal he checked his change, it was $12. My son called us and we called the restaurant an hour after the purchase. They said they couldn't check if his money was there until they closed and to call back tomorrow. We did call back. They said there wasn't an extra $30 in the register and that the only $50 bill they received was hours after my sons purchase. Food was good, I ordered the Teri beef. Ordering was quick, and cashier was friendly but food was slow to come out. Kinda of a fuster cluck when they're busy. Avoid when there's a crowd and got to their sister restaurant China Town next door if you don't want to wait around.

They offer 5 different combos with your choice of chicken, beef and/ or shrimp. A little pricey, but standard for a mall food court. Your chosen protein will be cooked to order, so be ready for the wait and make sure some one doesn't walk off with your order with all the confusion that...
