Going through drive thru sucks, honestly. The placement of the speaker makes it hard to hear. It's a bit of a tight squeeze with multiple cars but worth it. I love Dairy Queen ice cream. I'm from the midwest but live in NYC, In NYC it doesnt taste the same as in the midwest or I just enjoy it more in the midwest 😊 The staff was nice yet slow but let's be real. All businesses are slow now a days , thanks to covid-19. I did enjoy the caramel apple sundae . If you like candy apples, GET IT.

Love taking the kids to Dairy Queen for Dilly Bars and ice cream cones. I really like the sizing options so my toddler can also enjoy a cone without it being ridiculously too much for him.

Normally we use the drive thru, but today my 6 yr old granddaughter and I decided to go into the store since it looked like no one was in there and we'd get our ice cream quickly.

We saw two people hustling to fill drive thru customers' orders; a man and a woman who may have been the owner/manager? We weren't initially greeted, but in a bit we got a 'be right there.'

After a minute or so I realized I'd left my wallet in the car so we retrieved it and came back in. The woman said, 'oh good I thought you'd left because of the wait.' We waited a bit longer for someone to take our order when a young employee entered the front of the building to which the woman behind the counter (manager?) called out, 'you're late; get back here and wash your hands.'

I understand it's frustrating to be busy and be short of hand, but I'm wondering if that kind of 'greeting' was appropriate with customers at the counter? We quickly ordered two medium cones which were the size of smalls, paid and left. We were still feeling a bit uncomfortable for the young employee who was dressed down in front of us.

Upon leaving my granddaughter said to me, 'next time can we go to the Dairy Sweet in LeClaire? They're nice there.' I think that's great advice.

A fun ice cream outing turned sour quickly. Is that good customer service? Is yelling at a young employee a good way to teach them? We'll be looking for a more kind and...

Confirmed owner is an absolute menace to humanity, if its the same guy who was owner about a year ago.

Had the same problem with parking, they weren't even open and we finished eating at Jimmy's, this class act literally blocked my car with his BMW because I was parked in his lot, as Jimmy's was full. His store was closed and all spots were open. He then tried to insult my intelligence and reading comprehension. Yes, I can read the absurd menacing sign on every spot that shows everyone you are a total douche, I just dgaf.

Guy is a total tool. Just...
