Those searching for a 1-word feedback, it's "DISAPPOINTED".
Someone who knows what an Amritsari Kulcha looks and tastes like, would appreciate being served more than just a parantha, with even stuffing. Additionally, Chhole plays a key role and shouldn't be ignored.
The desert, Faluda was too sweet and the noodles in it were still hard, it looks this preparation is not ready to be on the menu yet.
Also, parantha lovers will always appreciate fresh made tea over something served in "Thermos" and kept next to the condiments.
Lots of work is yet to be done, but I'm sure with the right amount of attention and effort, they will succeed
This is a Self-service restaurant which serves food in disposables. I think the idea would be to first sense the opportunity/market before investing too much upfront. The restaurant did not have physical menus or tie-up with online ordering app/website when we visited.
1 star for their thought process and efforts. I guess the manager sensed my feedback and compensated with a bowl of complimentary Jalebi. Much appreciated. But sorry, it did not change my feedback on food. You got to prioritize and fix things for which a customer would re-visit. Little more effort and this can serve just the right Punjabi Indian food.
Recommendation: I'd want to see white butter and white salty lassi...
Read moreworst quality, rude attitude, bad food, sharp object found in food. -Sharp Object in food- while eating noticed something sharp cutting on inside of mouth, took it out, saw sharp-triangle shape solid thick plastic object around 1.5 inch long and around 1 inch wide in my dish. Showed it to restaurant front-desk. The guy showed no remorse, no apology, just business as usual and didn't care at all. -Quality- Other than finding the sharp object in my food, this bad quality of preparation is really hard to find, its takes some level of worseness to make food this bad. nothing was fresh, overall disgusting taste. -Attitude - staff had really unprofessional, kind of rude tone towards everyone and had overall bad attitude as well as bad customer service. Summary- Not Recommended, does not matter how lenient you could be with quality of your food, don't try food here, wasting money is one thing, but putting your health in danger is another and with random sharp non-biodegradable objects [sharp plastic] in your food, if swallowed will certainly put you in hospital. Save yourself and your money by avoiding this place...
Read moreThe buffet is not great but our family liked their simple menu and food.
This is the 3rd time we went there for a lunch buffet with our kids.
In the first two visits their staff told us to buy paratha for our daughter and she can share a buffet with us. We never planned to buy paratha for her, they recommended to take to go if we want. Other restaurants usually charge half for kids.
Today we didn't ask and bought paratha for our daughter. She continued to share a buffet with us.
Their manager (lady) stops by our table at the end of the lunch, staring our daughters plate said.. your daughter didn't eat any paratha so you will have to pay for buffet.
We were stunned to see her attitude..
We would have paid for her buffet if it was communicated to us before... We would never take anything for free that too to feed our kids..
We left the paratha there that we bought, paid for daughters buffet and added a $10 tip to cover any additional food they might think we ate..
We recommended and even took a few of our friends there but will not be going there going forward or even recommending...
