It looked delicious!!!! The good stuff: All the wait staff and check out staff was very nice, even the customers that came inside were friendly. I arrived just before noon and there were 2 others at tables when I arrived. By the time I left most tables were full. New Country music plays in the background which was nice. TV's had different things playing. I appreciate that everything is made to order this is not a fast food restaurant. The Sweet Tea is perfect, don't change a thing. Mixed Veggies we're good, carrots, broccoli, squash.

The NOT so good stuff: If you are in a hurry it takes a bit for your food. I ordered a hamburger steak (grilled onions & brown gravy) with the mixed veggies. Ok, how can something as easy as a hamburger steak be so crunchy and tough. It was way over done. It's hamburger meat seriously how did you get it that tough and dry? The brown gravy... Way to salty. I repeat Way to salty. The wait staff didn't check on me from the time she dropped off the plate until I was done. I had to get her attention to just fill up my enormous to go tea. Take the little salad and toast off, it's a waste of your money and mine, and offer another side instead

We have been to Shifters multiple times. It’s a special place to my other half and I. Our very first date was there. We have never experienced an issue... until tonight. The service was horrible. Our waitress definitely gave off the impression that she had better things to do. We ordered the bacon wrapped shrimp and was told that they are no longer selling that. Then we ordered a side salad that was brought out after the meal was put on the table. We asked for a small bowl of ranch and was told that they only had the little one ounce portion cups and that’s the only way they gave it out. My drink emptied, my sons drink emptied… no refills. We had to ansk for napkins. We had to ask for a fork so my son could eat his salad. After the food was brought out our waitress couldn’t be bothered to come back to the table. The other two servers came and checked on us. Let’s not mention that while we waited for our food I watched our waitress stand behind the counter and eat… fingers licked and all. She fished a lime out her mouth with her fingers. Did she wash her hands? No no. The food was good as always. We will most likely go back but if we walk in and Arley is...

I ordered a medium rare steak thinking for the price it would be a decent cut of meat and it would actually be grilled. Boy was I wrong, the steak came so overcooked and was obviously put on the flattop with press. Not only that, the steak looked as if it was bought at Walmart like the cheap steaks you can get in a box in the freezer section. I also got mashed potatoes for a side. Like how can you mess up mashed potatoes, wrong again. The potatoes clearly were scooped out and placed on my plate by hand as it looked like they were trying to make some sort of sculpture. Needless to say I didn't even tempt fate and try them not knowing where their hands have been. On top of this my wife ordered a burger and the bun was so greasy that when she attempted to take a bite all of the insides shot out onto her plate.
