Disappointed with Quality and Portion Size – Not Recommended

I stopped by Taqueria El Gran Amigo at the Pleasanton Mall while in a rush to visit the Apple Store. I was looking for a quick bite and decided to try their fish tacos, but unfortunately, it was a big letdown.

First, the quality of the food was poor. The fish taco didn’t taste like fish at all — it seemed more like a ground-up, unidentifiable mix rather than real, fresh fish. The texture was off and the flavor was bland, almost like it came from a frozen package or was heavily processed.

Second, the portion size was extremely small. Compared to other fish tacos I’ve had at different taquerias, this one was noticeably lacking in both size and substance. It felt like I paid full price for half a taco.

Overall, I was very disappointed. If you’re expecting fresh, flavorful, and satisfying fish tacos, this is not the place. I don’t recommend Taqueria El Gran Amigo, especially with so many better...
