Devour is the kind of place small towns dream about but rarely get, a local gem that punches way above its weight. The vibe is a perfect blend of modern and country chic: clean lines, warm touches, and a dining area so spacious you could host a board meeting or just kick back with friends. Bonus points for the outdoor seating, because let’s be honest, a plate this good deserves fresh air.
Now the food? Let’s talk. Fresh ingredients, massive portions, and the kind of execution that makes you question why you’d ever wait in line at a chain spot again. Prices? Fair enough that you feel like you’re getting away with something. Service? Friendly, attentive, and not the “hovering over your shoulder” type, just right.
I went all-in on the 5th Wheel (with brats), and here’s the truth: this dish is a Midwestern love letter on a plate. The brats were butterflied and grilled to perfection, the eggs were cooked exactly as ordered (not the rubbery afterthought you get elsewhere), and the potatoes? Golden, crispy, and seasoned to keep you reaching for one more bite. It’s the kind of meal that sticks with you, in the best way.
Bottom line: Devour isn’t just a breakfast and lunch spot, it’s a destination. The kind of place you tell your out-of-town friends about, and they end up planning their trip around it.

Read moreWent there for breakfast. The toast was very good, and it was the highlight of the meal. My friend suggested they should call this place "Potatoes and other Carbs". The food was bland. "Smashed potatoes" was sort of like baked potatoes chopped in halves or quarters. The meat in the biscuit gravy tasted old, and the food was not very warm. There were literally only a few crumbs of meat in the wrap, which was loaded with the mammoth potato chunks.
The interior looks nice, and they have a lot of seating, and table menus. But no one offered to seat us. They just stood behind the counter, said "Hi" and waited for us to figure out that they weren't coming to our table. Why have table menus?
They bring out the food and they buss it. But everything else you do yourself. Order your food at their counter, get your own ketchup bottle, silverware, to-go box, etc. Either that or they were supposed to do those things, but didn't. I couldn't really tell. Communication and service was lacking. The place was practically empty.
I left the biscuits and gravy, and took everything else home so I could finish preparing the ingredients, add meat to the wrap, some seasoning, and do Breakfast Take 2. You pretty much are doing EVERYTHING yourself anyway, so just cook breakfast at...
Read moreI was never to impressed by the advertising. Decided to try today. Service was not the best. Not friendly at all. We greeted them and no response back. We ended just getting one thing. When I go to pay there's a sign that says 4% fee of the credit card and I asked if debit there is no fees to which they say no, there's fee overall. Well change your sign to say debit and credit there's fees. There's a difference. Not impressed never coming again!
UPDATE:
I never complained to you regarding breakfast. I saw the time and that's why I did not order as that's what we were going to order. If I choose to buy breakfast before 1pm, I am within my right!! THE SIGN DOES NOT SAY ALL CARD!!!! YOU DONT WANT TO TAKE OWNERSHIP ON THE RUDENESS OF NOT AKNOWLEDGING WHEN SOMEONE SAYS HI WHEN THEY COME IN. OK. WHAT CAN I EXPECT FROM THR EMPLOYEES IF THE OWNERS ARE A JOKE TOO!! You want to be shady and lie....
