Was seated promptly. Waiter came and took our order pretty fast. Food came out in less than 30 mins. We ordered chicken wings, which didn’t have no seasoning on it whatsoever. Not even salt or pepper. Basically just plain wings thrown into some hot grease that was flash fried with a fish sauce type dipping sauce on the side. We also ordered Steak Noodle salad which came out as a cold salad with sliced beef, mixed in with cooked mama ramen noodles, spinach, lettuce, thai basil, cucumber, green onions & tomatoes. They basically just squeezed lime juice & poured fish sauce on top. It was very tangy sour & soooooo salty from the fish sauce. I took about 3 bites & was done with it. The steak was cut in thick pieces which made it hard to chew & the meat itself was not tender at all. Very tough & chewy. Last entree we got was the Crispy pork belly with rice & cucumbers on the side. Again, Crispy pork belly didn’t have no seasoning at all. Not even salt & pepper. Just plain pork belly thrown into some hot grease, flash fried, accompanied by a spicy dipping sauce. & then we had a thai tea & a lychee ginger limeade. The drinks were the only things we enjoyed, unfortunately. It was my first & my last time here. I wouldn’t recommend this place. If you want real flavorful authentic Thai food, save your money & look elsewhere. I would recommend Thai Table in Plymouth right off of hwy 55, over this newly opened establishment. Sad to say, but I highly doubt they’ll be...
Read moreJust wanted to say "we appreciate you". We were there for dinner on Wed 4/30, and the restaurant was quite full with a lot of pickup orders. There were just 2 people there juggling front counter, waiting the tables, and fulfill the pickup orders. Short-staffed. The food was great esp khao soi (which is phenomenal!) and fried rice was so tasty (with the caramelized ingredients as they are well fired till fragrant in hot 🔥 wok - the chinese call it "wok hei") The two ladies in front were apologetic when the order was missing. We didn’t rush any where as it was a dinner time, so we waited for our order. It's hard to make this authentic Thai food esp all imported ingredients are getting pricey. So I just wanted to drop a note here that we know how hard it was and we appreciate you both. Reading some ridicuous review (e.g. expect rice noodles to not get stuck together in the box?! It's not pasta smh), as an Asian I really feel for the restaurant. Will be back....
Read moreDelicious Thai food! Had to try the new place close to home. We ordered the sampler platter with satay, tofu, egg rolls and spring rolls. Egg rolls are smaller size and spring rolls are rice paper rolls and not fried (clarifying as I’ve seen them as both fried and unfried depending on the place) we tried the lychee ginger limeade, a little sweet but good, and the ginger tea, which I loved as it’s a little sweet but strong ginger root flavor, which I’m into. My son had the kids satay and rice and was happy, and husband I each had curry, red and Panang. Red is a touch sweeter than panang but very good, and big portions. We ordered a spice level of 2 and it had some kick so glad we erred on the safe side. Service was a smidge slow, but the place is less than a week old and they were pretty busy with tables and takeout, so be patient, it’s worth it! Happy I don’t need to drive 20 min for Thai food. Excited to try Tom yum and cheese puffs next....
