I had a little bit of a disappointing experience today at the new Plymouth location. I will first say the staff was quick, nice and efficient. Very clean and cute in the new store! Taste of the boba was great. What I was disappointed with was that I had ordered a large tea with light ice (I just donât like my tea to get watered down, and am happy to pay a $1 or so extra to get extra tea filled since with light ice it doesnât usually fill it up all the way - Iâve done that at other boba chains). But I got a cup 3/4 full of ice, so much that it was hard to even get at the extra bobas that I paid for while I was drinking which is half the fun of drinking boba.    Read moreI was charged 7.81 for a large coconut milk tea with brown sugar syrup. I received it without the brown sugar. After getting it, I asked if it was correct. My server said that it would have said brown sugar on the sticker, and that she'd have to ring me up for the extra 85 cents...the cost of a large tea without add ons is 6.81 after tax.
I had tipped her, so the total of this drink was 8.89 which is a lot for a tea without the standard boba, and without the extra I requested. This is my first time being here and had a bad experience....bummer. I'm not sure...
