I was not impressed with anything. Waiter was slow (only one) There was a party of 20 that was incredibly loud , I couldn't even hear my family right next to me without shouting. We have food sensitivities and when we sat down we asked if they had rice paper... the water said yes. When we went to order sushi with rice paper he said, oh, no we dont have that kind of rice paper. We then asked can we please have the gluten free soy sauce. He says sorry we JUST ran out. And then my father ordered a curry, specifically asking for it to be spicy, waiter says no problem. It came back so sweet he didnt even finish half his dish, and the rice noodles were so slimy it was gross. I've never seen my dad not finish his meal. I ordered a sushi platter, the rolls were incredibly small and the avacado was not ripe. We were given our food without utensils, took him 8 minutes to bring us some. I'm not at all a picky person but this place is on my never again...
Read moreCame here for the first time when visiting downtown Plymouth. Ordered the Pad Thai and Red Curry, and wanted to order a small bowl of sushi rice and 4 small pieces of shrimp tempura for the toddler since there was nothing else on the menu he could eat. The server didn't tell us that the 4 small pieces of shrimp tempura was going to be $14 + $4 side bowl of sushi rice... His meal would have cost $18, which was more than our adult meals. Disappointed in the pricing for that, but everything else was good. The Pad Thai was flavourful and spicy and I absolutely loved the flavour of the Red Curry. The prices are fair and the food is good if you're ordering off the menu but if you're looking to order a side or something for a little one, there aren't many options and they are not transparent about pricing. Overall, they served some...
Read moreSushi rolls were tasteless and very small for the price. For 16.50, we should get more than 5 pieces in a roll. The other two rolls were way below par also. The rice for our Thai food was over cooked and pasty. When we called to express our disappointment, we were told that the rolls were small because they consolidate the ingredients into a shorter roll. They also said that the prices were high because they are located in downtown Plymouth. So it is acceptable to charge more for half the food just because your building is in downtown Plymouth? That gives the restaurant permission to rip people off? We usually go to Kabuki and Thai Basil’s rolls were so much smaller. We usually get 10-12 pieces per roll at Kubuki and they are the same thickness as Thai Basil’s rolls. Will not go back to Thai...
