This has become a favorite treat place for the past 2 summers. I like getting the reverse gelati, which is 2 helpings of custard and one Italian ice flavor. We recommend only getting a small. It ends up being enough to satisfy you.
Follow their social media to see their weekly flavors. My favorite special flavor is still the chocolate caramel brownie custard. Coconut custard was good, but I didn’t love the coconut Italian ice or the banana one either. Some can be a hit or miss so I always make sure to get a layer that I will love.
Don’t be worried about getting different flavors even if you think it doesn’t mix with the custard flavor. You usually eat it in layers and isn’t a problem.
I love the new outdoor seating and tent added in 2022. We enjoy sitting with our friends as we catch up.
Staff is always friendly, even when you show up 10 minutes before they close. Ask to get set up on their rewards to earn free cups and check their social media for...
Read moreKarie Anne's is a great dessert option if you're after Italian Ice, custard, or Gelati. We recently stopped in for the first time (because our usual ice cream stop is closed Mondays) and we were very happy with it. All the Italian ice flavors were a hit, the custard was good, and the prices seemed about right. It was actually one of the most well thought food trucks I've seen, with ordering on one side and order pickup on the other. First time I've seen that and it helps avoid the typical food truck issue where you can't tell who has ordered and who is waiting. The treats also came out very quick, which was nice. Although it's a food truck in a parking lot, they have a large tent set up that shades a small handful of tables. Even though they were quite busy, there was enough seating to accommodate the high turnaround of patrons. We'll definitely be back when we're in the mood for Italian Ice! Wish I would have tried them...
Read moreI’m staying overnight in Pocatello and wanted a bit of dessert. I stumbled across Karie Anne’s through a Google search, and it was a great find! Prices are pretty reasonable and they had a variety of flavors, including some “limited” flavors. I was offered a sample when I wasn’t sure which flavor I’d want, which was super nice. My “junior” gelati was $4 and had 1 scoop of Tiger’s Blood Italian ice and 1 scoop of frozen vanilla custard. I really liked the Tiger’s Blood Italian ice. The vanilla custard was good and rich in flavor (a bit more than I probably wanted, lol!)
Though they had a lot of customers, the line moved quickly and I had my gelati within a few minutes. There’s seating under a cute yellow and white circus tent, and the area is well lit. I’d definitely...
