Sandbagger's Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Pocatello

I only gave it one star because I cannot leave no stars. am a frequent flier at sandbaggers. Usually, when we come in here the service is wonderful. We're greeted with friendly smiles from the staff. Today, however, was completely different. I brought my sister here for the first time and she was not impressed. When we sat down, there was a big table in the restaurant and a couple small tables. The big table was just finishing up, and the other tables already had their food. We sat at our table for 10 minutes before receiving menus. When we ordered our drinks, she didn't ask what my son wanted and just brought him an orange juice. Which he didn't want and we ended up having to pay for. We had our food ordered at 12:30. We finally received our food at 2. Had we been warned there was an hour and a half wait for food, we probably would have gone somewhere else. When I asked the server for an eta on our food, I was met with a bunch of snark and attitude. When she brought us refills for our table, none of the drinks we received were correct, and I had to go to the bar to correct them. Our food was Luke warm by the time we received it. My cousins and I used to go here every week for lunch and drinks. We loved it, until it today. We had lunch and 2 drinks a piece, my cousin even bought drinks for other people. We left for over an hour and came back and ordered one more drink, the waitress then came over and said, “The owner told me I can’t serve you because you have been drinking all day.” We were all waiting for her to laugh and say just kidding but she was dead serious. We were definitely laughing during lunch, we’re just giggly girls having fun like we do most lunches. But nothing to warrant that type of embarrassment. We spend several hundred every week with the large group that meets there for lunch once a week and tonight it was $150 because we bought drinks for others and there were only 3 of us. We asked some guys leaving as we were if they had a weird experience and they said no, they had individually 3 doubles, 3 beers and shots. They won’t be getting any of our business again and we will be letting everyone know because it was just weird and embarrassing. Several people who were there (men) all day and didn’t get lunch were not cut off and I just wouldn’t recommend if you don’t want to be humiliated and refused service after 3...

First time in, sat right at the super comforable bar, pads under arms, good seats. Shaylee is a great bar tender, and waitress wrapped up into one. Smiley and great personality. Happy hour was great, good drinks, good sports on TV, good atmosphere. Ordered 1 lb of spicy honey boneless wings amazing, jalapeño poppers perfect amd amazing, melt in your mouth, and big pieces, western tots with hand made dipping sauces. Fry sauce originally made, and fantastic. Ty the chef of the night, nice and hot perfectly cooked fast order within 10 minutes from entry, to in front of me from start to finish, even with a bunch of fun people in the pub.
