Arctic Circle — Restaurant in Pocatello

This was the first time I've been in here since the remodel. I must say sadly that it was brighter, cheerier, and more upbeat with the previous build, lighting, and seating. Upon walking in tonight I could not help but feel down and sad. It's so gloomy and dreary inside. Dark grey? Everything? The poor employees. No wonder why the poor girl perked up so suddenly when we walked in. She was so zombified and zoned out in the deep sea of greyness. Holy cow. I felt like I was in a psychward from the 50's or something. And the worst part? We were the only ones in there until multiple cars started showing up both in the drive through as well as walk-ins and they were all elderly people! We used to go all the time especially for ice cream. The last couple times we have been pulled and sat there for over 15 minutes for 2 small shakes. Tonight when we went I ordered 2 small shakes as always and one was a raspberry cheesecake with extra cheesecake. After being pulled I went back in to get remade because there was no sign of cheesecake in it. The manager argued with me saying well he says he put a bunch of cheesecake in there I can top it with cheesecake. I said I even took the spoon out and there is no sign of cheesecake. My husband aye it anyways and said there is cheesecake but the blended it to the point you can't tell it was there barley could taste the cheesecake. I also PAID OVER A DOLLAR FOR EXTRA cheesecake. The double cheeseburger 🍔 was outstanding. No comparison with other burger joints in town. I have visited in the past but only for desserts and I never tried a burger before. See photos attached. It was cooked to perfection with all the toppings I requested. Now the negative, the fries were cold and too salty. I love salt 🧂 but not that much. It was like licking a salt lick 👅. We only live two blocks behind Artic Circle so they shouldn’t be cold in that amount of time. They definitely were not hot. I microwaved them for 45 seconds and they were ok. The Diet Pepsi was flat, not enough carbonation. It had no bubbles in it and I ordered a large drink and it was all flat.
