  • UPDATED POST *** As of 9/4/2025, my review has still not been acknowledged from the owner. Now I understand why the employees are the way they are 😒 My post has been up and NEWER, POSITIVE posts have been responded to. I've been here 3 times since opening. The first visit, during opening week was fantastic! We ordered online because we knew it would be crazy busy. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted immediately and during our wait the staff kept apologizing for the wait but we expected it, so it was no issue whatsoever. The food was great so we tried to go last Friday afternoon. We walked in around 11:30. We were look at but never greeted or welcomed. After about 10 minutes of not being acknowledged we walked out. Last night I ordered online again, thinking it would be better. I walked in cashier looked at me and turned her head. Team member preparing my order looked at me at least 4 times as I stood alongside the counter, never said a word. 10 minutes go by and now I am annoyed. Another team member came to the register to ring out another customer and I said, "can I be acknowledged please. " He apologized and continued to say we will be right with you. I then explained that when customers walk in the door they should be greeted immediately whether you're busy or not that's just good customer service. The female employee that was packing up my to-go order booked over at me and gave me the nastiest look and rolled her eyes. After she was done bagging up my items she brought them to me and I asked her if she was the manager because she had a different shirt on than the rest of the staff. She responded with a nasty attitude saying that she was not the manager and told me they were not there today. I took my food and left. Upon arriving at home I opened up my $50 online order and every single item was thrown into the containers and I was missing an item. I don't know if she packed my bag the way she didn't because she didn't like what I had to say but common sense is that the larger items go at the bottom. I WANT TO SUPPORT POINCIANA BUSINESSES. This is where we live. But the staff needs to have a refresher course on customer service. I understand it's busy with a fairly new store opening but customer service is key to a...

This is my first Barrio Buritto Bar experience. The place is bright and clean. I waited longer than expected to order. The delay gave me time to read the menu and be ready with questions. There are several protein choices including Ground Beef, mild or spicy Chicken, and 2 kinds of Shrimp. Only Mexican Rice but numerous toppings and sauces to choose. Burritos and bowls come in different sizes - Yea! Tacos and Quesadillas are served too. Everyone behind the counter seemed to work interchangeably which is probably why we had to wait so long. I ordered tacos with mild chicken, ground beef, and carnitas (pulled pork). My husband ordered an x-large burrito with barbacoa, rice, beans, and lots of toppings, including guac. Surprisingly the buritto was rolled and then pressed. Everything we ordered was a generous size, obviously fresh, and delicious. Meat was a little more spicy than we prefer but very tasty. I love Chipolte but Barrio Burrito Bar has significantly more variety, good portion sizes, priced similar to Chipolte, and is much closer to my home. My only complaint is the long wait for service. Chipolte is more efficient in that regard. Barrio Buritto just opened, so I hope their efficiency improves soon. I'll be back...

I tried this place because I saw that they had veggie ground. When I got there the beyond meat was not made. Instead of the young lady waiting until the beyond meat was made to make my burrito, she made it and just sat it on the counter… uncovered. There was no mention of how long it would take to make the veggie ground. I was on my lunch break and didn’t want to wait all day. I had to ask for my food to be covered after about 10 minutes. The young lady clearly had an attitude with my request. Instead of her covering my food with foil or the paper you wrap burritos in she got some random lid and smashed it over the top of my food. When I tried to get the attention of someone to request my money back no one answered me. Everyone was in the back doing whatever. I will never and I MEAN NEVER come here again. The staff were unfriendly and my experience was just awful. I should have known something was up when I came in during lunchtime and there was only two...

Ok, I don’t normally call people out by name but NADIA girl you have to learn how to treat customers if you are directly serving people their food. I was next in line to order and you looked at me and looked at the person behind me that was apparently your friend waved your arms in the air and started chatting it up then you asked him what he wanted started making his bowl he told you that o was ahead of him and you said “its okay, it’s fine “ Now on to the food, nothing fried was available( crispy chicken, shrimp, fries or churros) no carnitas no sour cream no burrito sauce no pickled onions. That’s just what I tried to order. Settled with a barbacoa bowl and it was mediocre. In conclusion please train your employees on how to treat customers when you run a hospitality business. Embarrassing for a grand opening. Nadia do better.
