Outback Steakhouse — Restaurant in Poinciana

Where to begin! We walked up to the front doors and were warmly greeted and again when we walked up the hostess station. We were promptly seated at a high top table near the bar. The chairs were very comfortable and it was nice to be seated higher as it gave me a better view of this amazing new restaurant we FINALLY have in Poinciana. Our server…. AMAZING! Clarissa was phenomenal at providing service and made us feel so welcomed. Our drink and appetizer orders were taken quickly & delivered just as fast too along with the complimentary loaf of bread and softened butter. My husband had the margarita flight which included the traditional margarita, blackberry, mango and watermelon. His favorite was the blackberry and I have to agree, as it was delicious, especially on a hot Florida summer day. I had a Long Island Ice Tea and it was perfect. Our daughter (14) had the Strawberry Lemonade and she loved it. For appetizers we ordered the Fried Mozzarella Bloomerangs and the Sydney Shrooms. Both were great and check out the cheese pull photo on bloomerangs which I included. If you’re a fan of the fried mozzarella sticks, these are a MUST! They are coated in the Bloomin’ Onion seasoning. My husband had the Bloomin’ Fried Chicken with asparagus and fries, I had the new Seared Peppered Ahi (melted in my mouth!) with a side salad and seasoned rice and our daughter had the 6oz. Sirloin Steak (ordered medium-rare and came just that way) with Grilled Shrimp with sides of Baked Potato Soup and fries. The food was delicious and cooked perfectly. There was also a young man that came to our table to bring us the appetizers as well as our entree’s and I wasn’t able to get his name but he was great! He later came back to ask how the Ahi was and when I told him it was amazing he said he was definitely going to try it for his lunch that day so I really hope he enjoyed it! Clarissa was so attentive and talked with us for a short bit and got to know us a little and that’s so great as it helps build such a nice relationship with guests. I understand this is a longer review than I normally leave but I wanted to truly express how nice it is having a sit-down restaurant in Poinciana, specially with it being Outback Steakhouse. I can’t rave enough about this place. It’s not just any Outback! It’s a very special & welcoming place, the staff are always so pleasant and go above and beyond their duties! Many know me when I come in, that’s how great they are! I will admit since it’s a local new restaurant, I do enjoy going out quite often there, like every other week when we can. I just really enjoy a good steak and many of what they have to offer. I usually like dipping my steak in something, but their sirloins have been very well seasoned and cooked so well. I always love to see the managers there, some I’ve spoken to personally are James (who always has a smile on his face & positive energy), Christina (in charge of back of house and making sure that the kitchen is run well), and Kay (who knows what she’s doing in the front of house and how to fix things when they arise). I’ve had some lovely servers while I was there as well, Julio, Christina, and Michelle to name a few. We have had others, but these have stuck out to us. I really try to remember faces and names and this team here have always been phenomenal. I must say though, besides the staff, atmosphere, and food…the Proprietor, Miss Alex, has always been so welcoming to me and my people! She has always made it a point to speak to me and has put in a lot of effort and hard work into that restaurant! Mad respect to her and her team! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 Stars – Outstanding Service at Outback Poinciana

Since this Outback location in Poinciana opened, my husband and I have visited five times, and every experience has been excellent. The staff is always welcoming, attentive, and makes us feel right at home. The restaurant is clean, including the bathrooms, and the food is consistently delicious—the bread is fresh, and the steaks are always cooked perfectly to order.

Today, we were fortunate to be served by Gaby, and she truly went above and beyond. Gaby is a young lady with beautiful eyes and a warm, welcoming personality that immediately made us feel like family. She even asked if we were celebrating something special. I told her I had just finished a long day at the bank where I work, and she reminded me that enjoying a good meal together is worth celebrating too—that small but meaningful comment made me smile.

My husband and I are a special couple, as we both had bariatric bypass surgery, so we usually split one order. Every server we’ve had here has been kind and understanding about this, but today Gaby went the extra mile. She not only provided wonderful service during our meal, but also suggested a fantastic to-go option for us at a great price, which we ordered for lunch tomorrow. She had it ready right on time, perfectly packaged. Even other guests seated near us were complimenting her for her friendliness and genuine care.

It’s rare to find someone in the service industry who blends professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail the way Gaby does.
