This was the most horrible experience I’ve ever had at denny’s! The food was awful and nasty..the steak tasted like actual raw dog food and like rubber. My father felt like throwing up from how nasty the steak tasted. He was very disgusted and caught a very bad stomach ache. The eggs tasted like they weren’t even cooked at all including the biscuits, the biscuits looked as if they came straight out the box without being toasted or anything. As for the hash browns they didn’t have no taste at all and my mother said it felt like She was chewing literal rubber in her mouth. The waiter that served me was Angela M. And she was a very horrible server..this is because she brought 2 cups of coffee, but with less than half way filled and then stated “there wasn’t enough coffee so here” my coffee tasted like cold milk and water. I then proceeded to tell her my coffee was very cold and she said “no it’s not I just brought it out” as a server you are not supposed to talk back to a customer you are supposed to apologize and then try your best to fix the situation. As for my pancakes they tasted like straight up dough. The pancakes had no taste at all and made my stomach hurt. The raspberry iced teas tasted like sewer water and I found a dead fly in it as well. That is very unsanitary and nasty to serve your customers that. As for the manager, he was very nonchalant and didn’t even apologize for the bad experience we had. We told him how horrible it was and he just stated, “ok” then proceeded to walk away with an attitude. All he did was not charge us the steak and gave us the bill. That is so unprofessional and disrespectful. The only person in that restaurant that actually helped me, my mother and father was the female server who is always working there with her husband. She helped fixed our bill and was very professional towards us. Overall this experience was my worst ever and the waiter that served me, my mother and father was very unprofessional rude. Read moreThis place has sunken so far down, there is no saving it. I stop here when I visit my parents, they love dennys, so when get food from here on the way to their house. They seem to not know their own menu, items are never correct according to the menu. When I went there last week and picked up my order it was incorrect, so I told the person at the front counter, they were obviously kictchen staff. He took it back to have it remade and the cook started arguing that I was wrong. I have an onion allergy, so I am 100 percent sure I selected no onions and even put it on the special request. The item came with soft tortillas and I asked 3 times for them and every person said o I will go get them and never came back, finally the 4th employee said o we are out of them. I returned again for my recent visit and ordered 4 things, 2 burgers and a pancake plate and the little pancake balls. The burgers were absolutely cook horrible, the cook definitely didn't care and has no idea what he was doing. Instead of letting them cook naturally he smashed them down to the point they were falling apart and definitely overcooked. Asked for well done fries and got soggy barely cooked fries, and the pancake balls were raw in the center. I know the cook was aware as one of them was cut in half like he was checking if they were done. That means he checked, saw they were undercooked and decided to send them out anyway. I don't care of my parents love dennys I will not return to this place again, there is a reason why this place is empty 90 percent of the time. The funniest thing is when I went into there the other day, a kid, no more then 8 was sitting the customers and bringing them their menus. Look as a kid I had to go to work with my parents, I get it. I never actually worked in the location while I was there. I think these people need to start rethinking their careers choices, they obviously don't care about the quality of the customers food, which is a bad mistake because there the reason they have the jobs they care so...
Read moreMy husband ordered a crazy spicy skillet. We waited about 45 minutes for it to come. When it came, one of the chicken pieces had a hair around it. I called the waitress, who happened to be the manager and showed it to her. She apologized and took the plate back to the kitchen and “supposedly” requested it to be redone. About 3 minutes later, she came back with the plate. I asked her how was it possible if we waited 45 minutes for that plate before. She said that it was possible because when something like that happens they skip all the orders. This time they added three big pieces of chicken on top of the plate. So, my husband removed one of the big pieces, before adding the sauce, because he always requests the sauce aside, and surprise!!! The same piece of chicken, with the black hair surrounding it was in the exact same position it was, underneath the three big pieces of chicken that were added to the plate 😡. The manager (waitress) heard when my husband is showing it to me and comes back to the table. She saw it there, got upset and took the plate back to the kitchen. 🤢🥴 We stood up to leave, went to the cashier and requested to talk to the manager. We were told by the cashier that they were having problems with the cooks, and that our waitress was the manager. So, she comes to the cashier and tells her what happened… while we were standing there. Once she finishes, they dismissed us with “okay have a good one…”!!! Not even an apology or any gesture to convince us to give them a try in the future, or anything!!! The most disgusting experience ever, and just to think that they lied telling us that it was a freshly just made new order, when in reality they used the same food that was returned is what really upsets us more. I wonder how many times they have done...
