I never leave bad reviews but this one needs to be shared. It’s a lengthy review but worth the read if you don’t want to waste your money. I called for an appt for a Keratin treatment which I have been getting on my hair for the last 5 years and always been very happy with the results. The lady on the phone was very nice & told me about the Monoi treatment & said Indio would discuss it versus Keratin when I came in. We did discuss it in depth & he convinced me that the Monoi would work better & was considerably less expensive than Keratin. My hair needed a trim (I’m letting it grow out a little) and it is pretty short & very thin so the total of the Monoi was $200 + $25 for the cut. We also discussed the products to use after the treatment & I bought a product from him to use. The treatment did absolutely nothing for my hair other than make it feel softer the first couple of days before I shampooed it. The waves & flips & some frizz in the rainy weather are still uncontrollable. Indio was on vacation when I called & Ruben said I should call back next week to talk to him. Indio called me when he returned to work but nothing was accomplished. He said it must be the products I’m using, even though he approved of them when he was doing my hair. I asked what could be done & he said I could come back in for a Keratin treatment for $285, in which their website states $280 including a cut & style. I’ve never dealt with a situation like this before where the stylists or salon is not willing to make any kind of offer to make it right. Very disappointed & frustrated. Read moreAt first, I was very pleased with Nancy's work with my hair. I referred my mom and grandmother to the place. After their last experience with Nancy, we are never coming back to the place. My mom and grandmother made an appointment with Nancy. The day of the appointment was my grandmother's birthday, but Nancy looked at them as if she was not pleased of them being there. When Nancy took my mom in, my mom only wanted a retouch and Nancy said out loud "oh great because I have to leave." But this was not the reason why we decided not to come back. Nancy, to hurry up, decided to have another stylist blow dry her hair. The way that stylist dried my grandmother's hair was horribly done. When my mom asked for my grandmother's hair to be fixed, Nancy said "Oh I always knew that stylist does a bad job with blow-dries. And also, I do not understand why she would want a blow dry on a rainy day anyways." Why would a she refer her client to another stylist knowing that the person does not know how to blow-dry when that is what the client wanted??? And on top of that, Nancy did not fix my grandmother's hair. Read moreThe receptionist was absolutely wonderful and extremely attentive, a complete Delight The staff at Bellísimo Hair Salon is the most professional, pleasant people I have come across with in a beauty salon. I have yet, until a few days ago have ever felt comfortable and assured in any beauty salon until I was referred to this wonderful place! The staff leave you feeling welcomed and calm. Natalie gave me a haircut of a lifetime, it was an unforgettable experience! Patty was also a delight, she gave a beautiful new due to my lovely grandmother (which I may add, is very picky with her hair) she left absolutely radiant beautiful and very pleased. Patty has also cut my mother's hair in the past in another beauty salon and we are very pleased to have found her again! I have found my salon!
