Boriken is one of those rare gems that feels like home the moment you walk in. This small restaurant offers an incredible fusion of Latin flavors—Colombian, Puerto Rican, and Cuban dishes that are both authentic and full of love.
Their pan de bono is my absolute favorite—soft, cheesy, and fresh every time. And don’t get me started on the coffee! It’s rich, smooth, and served in the most adorable little cups that make the whole experience feel cozy and thoughtful.
If you’re hungry, I highly recommend their Bandeja Paisa—it’s flavorful, fresh, and the portion sizes are more than generous. My partner can’t get enough of their burgers and fries, which are also top-notch.
The place is always clean, the service is genuinely kind, and there’s this beautiful warmth in the air—like eating at a friend’s house. One of my favorite details? It's more like a coffee/sandwich shop that serves breakfast, lunch and desserts. Finger foods more like it. I ordered a cuban sandwich and a fruit drink cause thats the only fruit drink they served and it was one size already poured in a cup sitting in a chiller case. Cuban sandwich was ok but, pork was one slice that everytime you bite the pork slice wants to slide out in one piece out the sandwich. It would been better to shred pork so it won't come out in one piece when you bite into sandwich. It's a nice looking place. They just opened and starting out so hopefully in time they will have a wider selection of food to offer like full...
Read moreI recently visited this charming spot that offers a delightful combination of subs, coffee, and Puerto Rican pastries. The coffee was rich and aromatic, complementing the savory subs perfectly. What truly stood out were the Puerto Rican pastries – a sweet and satisfying treat that added a unique touch to the menu. Overall, a great place for a satisfying meal with a touch of Puerto...
