This was my first visit to any Haitian restaurant. Inside was small, clean, and the sever was friendly. Inside menu on display is not necessarily all they offer. You place your order at the counter like take out. A few tables are available to eat there. We didn't wait too long for our food and the price is similar to local Caribbean restaurants. We ordered Oxtails and Stewed Chicken. Each came with Rice and Peas, fried green plantains, and a little lettuce. The rice was the best part of our meals. It was tasty but a little dry. It needed some gravy. My stewed chicken was fried skinless and came with maybe a teaspoon of gravy. I had 2 drumsticks and a leg quarter. It had flavor but was fried too much and overcooked! Disappointing. My husband's Oxtails were not seasoned much and had too much fat. Thankfully it was served with enough gravy. I've heard that Haitian food is very good. So we will go back again to try something different before giving up on them completely. BTW, This restaurant is next door to a pizzeria with similar signage. You might not realize there are 2 different restaurants.

Was looking forward to eating here since the reviews on food are pretty good, however it is 9:20 pm on a Friday and the doors are closed and the employee is sitting there with their bag on their hip as in just waiting for it to be 10 to leave but with the door locked. It’s pretty frustrating to drive 40 min to eat somewhere and see this, i didnt knock or anything because I didn’t want a confrontation but I hope that getting held accountable will make them stop so someone else doesn’t waste their gas and time driving here only to see they closed earlier than they are supposed to and see employees in there.

I move around the country a lot and finding a Haitian a restaurant is difficult. In fact I haven’t had any in 17 years. So once I found this gem I was very excited. I ordered a little bit of everything for my family and I: Griots, Legumes, Oxtail, and stewed chicken. It was their first time experiencing Haitian food and OMG they loved it. It brought back so many fond memories of what I loved so much about Haitian cuisine. The service was very good as well. I will eat here anytime I am in the area. I highly recommend this restaurant if you want great food...
