What an impromptu find - & I'm glad we found it!!
We were on the hunt for a philly cheesesteak in the area & drove to Pat's based on Google reviews. They ended up closing an hour earlier, so we found our way to Maria's & my oh my. What a treat.
Had the chicken philly cheesesteak (onions + provolone), a philly cheesesteak, sausage hero, wings & the nutella zeppolis. That cheesesteak was legit!! Reminded me of Ishkabibbles in Philly (which holds high standing in the world of chicken cheesesteaks for me).
The nutella zeppolis were out of this world (I mean, how could one go wrong with fried sugar powered dough stuffed with nutella)?
And the wings - the wings were a throw in from the owner who apologized for not having enough hoagies/subs/heroes (whatever you want to call it) to make the other order. So we pivoted to wings & he threw in a few extra for our troubles. The sign of a great management team & customer service!
Will definitely be back. But be wary: they seem to run out of some stuff on Friday evenings (we went around 9pm) - so...
Read moreThis Place Is The Worst Pizza Restaurant I have Ever gone To In My life. It Was Like 9:50pm And The Guy Touched My pizza with his Barehands Then i Asked Him to Wear Gloves He Said The Restaurant Does Not Carry Gloves. Then i said Well Im going To Write A Negative Review because Your The Only One That Is Going to Collect My money. Then He Turned My Business Away Because “HE DIDNT WANT TO PUT ON GLOVES WHILE HANDLING MY FOOD AND COLLECTING MY MONEY” “TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE” “DO NOT EAT HERE, ITS FILTHY AND UNSANITARY”
“IF I COULD RATE IT 0 STARS I WOULD”
“THAT BAD” 11/7 Was The Date, That Guy Should Be Repremended/Penilized For Turning Away Business As Well As Creating An Unwelcoming Environment.
Ps. The Owner Seems Like A Good Guy, I See He’s Receptive to criticism/Feedback. But It is Your Responsiblity to know whom Is working/representing your business. I Truley Hope He makes This Unfortunate Situation Right....
Read moreThe food is ok here but what I found odd is with the market over saturated with pizza joints where a pie costs 20 dollars just to stay in business is why view customers as if it is a privilege to order food here. It is definitely a privilege for you to be a customer here. Your business is not needed. Also, there is no set time that they close. They close when they want. So if you work late like I do and want to order something from here and call around 8:30 or 9pm enough times you will experience Exactly what I did. Worst of all is when the owner isn’t there, one of the counter slash phone girls wont answer the phone if you don’t leave her a tip on the tip jar. You will think they are closed when they’re not, when really she seen your name and number on the caller ID and just...
