Haven't had very good luck with any Peruvian food restaurants outside of our normal go-to in the Southbay. Saw this place had just opened up and finally decided to give it a shot.
Decided to order the Lomo Saltado to-go with an extra Aji sauce. I thought it was a little pricey until the cashier mentioned that they use filet mignon making me think I might have finally hit the jackpot...and boy did I ever!
The ambiance is small with enough tables to comfortably seat a small party of 4 but more if you put some tables together. The food is freshly made but the wait is nothing crazy.
Got home and we dug into it and we're pleasantly surprised. Absolutely delicious and well prepared. Not overly seasoned and cooled to perfection. The Aji was spicy and had good consistency and flavor which hard to find. Unfortunately, i honestly didnt think it wouod be anywhere as good as it was and I didnt think to take a picture until we had already finished it all off.
