Invited to a Children's Festival by the Mayor who didn't bother to clean the toxic urine & poop off the benches, sidewalks, grass, gardens, etc. before inviting families with children to walk through it on the way to the festivities. This is just not right! I called The County Environmental Control Agency who at first said..."They are a City...we normally don't do that." I said this is not normal...they aren't addressing this issue...you HAVE to! So they called the City, and I got a call saying they would fix it at 5:00 the next morning...but, NO TIME FOR BAND-AIDS FOLKS...HEALTH ALLERT HERE! CHILDREN ARE INVOLVED! This is a toxic dump site! Clean it up! Get help from HHH Bond money or NIMBY...it's a homeless issue. It's TOXIC WASTE! Where is your City Managers head??? Today I had the pleasure of getting a plumbing permit at City Hall. Now, I’m no stranger to dealing with cities and their plethora of differing requirements for permits, but this one takes the cake. I walked in, spoke with a very friendly girl at the Building Counter, and she gave me the application. After filling it out and being given an invoice, I strolled over to the Cashier Counter to pay for said permit. Once that was done I returned to the Building Counter where I showed her my receipt and was given the permit almost instantly. I can’t say enough good things about my experience and will definitely be posting this on Google Reviews.

Pro Tip: If you’re handy and willing to perform your own work on your house the cost of the permit is significantly less expensive than if you were having a contractor perform the work. Something to maybe...
